I agree. Sign Jeffers as well considering we qualified from our CL group that season.

Would you like to be part of the celebrations for the flag unfurling ceremony on the 23rd of July? Would you like to carry either the SPL or League Cup trophy around the pitch on the first game of the season? To celebrate the launch of the official Rangers Facebook page, weââ?¬â?¢re giving all our Facebook fans this once in a lifetime opportunity. To enter this fantastic competition, all you need to do is to ââ?¬Ë?Likeââ?¬â?¢ the FB post and your name will be entered into a free draw. As well as winning the chance to be part of the days celebrations and the chance to carry a trophy around the pitch, each winner will also receive two complimentary tickets for the match. The draw will be made this coming Monday, 18th July and the competition is open to all users who like this post. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

I remember Nieto looking the part for us in a friendly against Linfield a few years back...
-
Yep, looks like we'll be at home in the first leg.
-
Malmo - Di blÃ?Â¥e (The Blues) - will be our most likely opposition (they're 2-0 up from the first leg) and will prove tough given they're well into their season already. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malm%C3%B6_FF

We've drawn Malmo or Torshavn

A sectarian snake you say....?

Live coverage of today's CL draw has now started on UEFA.com. Would imagine it will be another 10-15mins before the actual draw takes place http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2012/draws/index.html

Fair comment from Leggo. I wonder if the usual crusaders will make the same valid point.

*Prays for good draw*

John's blog is always worth following - he writes some excellent stuff. BTW mate, when we go out for a beer; your good lady is to go to ours if she fancies sharing 5 bottles of wine with the missus as per usual.

And we should be aware of what wage he wants. If the fee has been agreed, we need to push this through at the earliest opportunity - no matter if the guy is fit or not.

Are our pre season results a reflection of Walter's past or Ally's present?
Frankie replied to bmck's topic in Rangers Chat
My head's hurting... PS: I've not read either match-thread as I don't really consider friendlies worth investing a lot of time into as a fan. They're essentially meaningless. Sebo and Novo both scored as we hammered Chelsea in one, FFS! -
Ally McCoist's acknowledgement we need players quickly
Frankie replied to bmck's topic in Rangers Chat
CEOs aren't paid 6 figure sums not to know the financial situation of other clubs they are dealing with. Similarly, most agents will make it their business to know the state of play before even allowing their client to negotiate. All this means I doubt McCoist's words will make much of a difference but I'll happily admit I wish he'd keep his targets to himself - though I recognise the odd comment will contribute to unsettling people enough to make a transfer cheaper/easier to complete. -
I see this the same way.

If the lad involved was playing then I'm sure we would have heard some chants aimed at him. That's football and that's life. It's not as if our own club and players haven't suffered from similar chants despite their innocence (Gough and McGregor to name but two).

Really quite interesting how our official site seems to lend credibility to some rumours and not others.

Superb article mate which I'll publish later today - magic to have you writing again! -
I know the guy who has been employed full-time to run this aspect of the club. I'm sure he realises the issues but I don't envy his work-load.

Erm - liked? Seriously, good to know the club are taking the social networking boom seriously.

Madjid To Return Home for scan on hamstring injury
Frankie replied to Rangers Football Club's topic in Rangers Chat
Great news...not! Not sure we can afford to wait much longer before signing a new centre-half. -
Sounds fair enough - please create/use other threads for off-topic stuff.
