That's true of course but administration/insolvency or whatever is surely a completely new (and very dangerous) ball game given SPL and UEFA rules? Yet still we hear rumours about the club considering this seriously.
-
Yeah, it's quite an interesting subject but I believe one of our forum members is going to start a thread discussing why the club may feel it is a credible option.

Good news! -
Given the criticism King has received in the last year (some valid, some not) I don't blame him for saying 'I told you so'.

As I said you on Twitter mate, there is no doubt some key people advocate a deliberate strategy of administration if the Whyte takeover doesn't happen. Very dangerous IMO. The reputation of the club would be changed for ever.
-
I don't think it lends much credibility to what is otherwise usually an interesting and much needed voice in the din...

Jesus Christ the comments sections in that blog really are cringeworthy. Why doesn't Leggat close them?
-
Yes you did and it's a shame that said thread has been permitted to go down the same forum v forum, fan v fan crap we should all be embarrassed about.

OK folks, you now have 4 skins to choose from: Gersnet 'Home' - the new blue/red theme Gersnet 'Away' - a more subtle red/white theme. Gersnet 'Original' - the blue which we've used since we migrated to vB4. Gersnet 'Mobile' - a useful simple theme for browsing on the move. I hope these are all to your satisfaction but if you notice any problems please let me know. PS: You can also use the excellent Tapatalk on your mobile but IIRC the app costs a couple of quid to buy from the people who make this software.

Been held up on that but I'll try and do it this week with a bit of luck.

The fans are complicit in the Rangers problem too.

I don't doubt the supporters have caused ourselves many of own problems. Good intentions or selfish actions apart, we've all made mistakes and the lack of genuine talent, leadership and innovation throughout our fan-base is somewhat disappointing. I don't know what the future holds under Craig Whyte but our support have done little to justify any constructive inclusion in his plans. -
I think despite AJ's revelations it is still quite difficult for the average fan to make up their mind on just who is responsible for what at Rangers FC. The only certainty we have is that it is a shambles worthy of huge criticism. Even worse then that some supporters would consider it more appropriate to indulge in the kind of petty 'I told you so' crap we're seeing elsewhere, rather than work together to address the many failings we all have.

Once can be attributed to bad luck. Twice is bad practice.

Someone should be answering for these debacles and that person should be Sir David Murray.
-
Thanks for the input gents - it's good to have some sensible debate on questions that people will be asking about these cases...

Boss has provided his analysis mate but if you see anything different to make it worth your while I'd be much obliged as ever...

Rangers confirm net debt is DOWN - as opposed to false reports in media this morning.
-
Should be starting about now - not live anywhere though.
-
Can you rattle together a few paragraphs for the main site please mate? Especially with respect to the BBC claiming the debt has risen to £29million.
-
I'll have deferred it to the Murray Group - everyone else is!

Seems like that. I nearly crashed my car this morning when I heard the Radio Scotland 7.25am update!

There were rumours yesterday but not enough to have an exclusive about. Clearly the tax work at our club is severely lacking.
