Adam has a decent reputation but I think Tuffy from Partick would be signed if McGregor was sold.

Now #3 in the Amazon charts. Note, Celtic fans have now started d/loading YNWA to contest this and are at #83 in the iTunes chart. Only the Old Firm could start a contest in the UK Top 40 music charts! PS: Not sure why they chose a Liverpool song but hey-ho... -
Actually I do agree McGregor has improved that area of his game but I'm still not convinced by him. He is a better 'keeper than Alexander but he's not a player that couldn't be replaced via good scouting. Easier said than done though.
-
Yeah, this has been said several times - most recent at December's AGM - but as I don't use the shops or live abroad I can't comment on improvement. Unfortunately money is king and as long as JJB keep paying us, I doubt the club will be pushing too hard as it would cost us a lot to get out of any contract and/or in the event JJB went bust, it would cost even more to start our commercial arm from scratch again.
-
I'd be happy enough with Alexander replacing McGregor as I don't think they are all that different in overall contribution... McGregor is a better shot-stopper but Alexander commands his box better. Again though, we'd be losing a key player and it is unlikely the funds received would be used to improve the team.

Yep, there was over £7million in bonuses paid for the UEFA Cup Final season....
-
The Brum link comes from rbr on here who is friendly with Ian McGuiness; former RFC club doctor now at Brum.
-
I think most people agree from a financial perspective the JJB deal is agreeable but logistically it has been very poor. Apparently there has been slight improvement after the club demanded it but unsure whether or not this will continue until 2015/16.
-
FH: Apparently Brum are interested in McGregor now as well with Hart unlikely to stay there after this season.

While I have been delighted with Weir's form - especially this season - I'm not daft enough to realise we can improve on what we have. Weir would certainly remain an important part of the squad for me but I'd definitely prefer a more long-term outlook in our defence - if guys like Wilson, Bougherra, Webster and even Broadfoot can show they are a better option. And if they are even here next season themselves which is by no means certain.
-
Would be very good but I'd be surprised if Bougherra is still here unfortunately...
