I'm not saying McCulloch may not get his opportunity up front, just that - with the run of games we have coming up - the chance of a 4-5-1 is zero.
-
Could be as short as a week or as long as a few months. Boyd hasn't suffered from many injuries in the past so hopefully will recover quickly.
-
No chance of this. Miller will remain up front with Lafferty his initial partner. If he can't cut it, then one of Novo, Naismith or Fleck will get the nod.
-
Yep, Boyd will be out for around a month (possibly longer) and while that is a huge blow obviously our next 8 games are matches that we should be winning with or without Scotland's best goalscorer. As is the case with most of these hernia ops, I'd imagine it has been timed as such. Silver lining is that it will allow the likes of Lafferty and Naismith to play up front in their preferred roles while we may even see the lively Loy or Little more often as well. We'll certainly need Miller to continue his good form (goalscoring wise especially) and it may not be beyond the realms of possibility that we bring in a loan player (if we can move on Rothen).

Daily Mail suggesting Boyd is undergoing hernia operation in England today... That would suggest a fairly lengthy spell out.

Hamilton 3 - 3 Rangers: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
Frankie replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Little did OK but was pushed off the ball a few times too easily and his decision-making also poor on occasion. However, he's young and inexperienced so I'm sure those problems can be addressed. He did look uncomfortable at right wing though IMO. -
The lack of creativity in our midfield is rather worrying so allowing Mendes to leave doesn't seem as simple as it was last week when the likes of Davis pulls up injured - serious or not!
-
It's any time he leaves the UK by the looks of it...
-
Thomson was just back from injury as well so doubt that would be the case. No point putting Edu on the bench if he didn't think the conditions were appropriate for him.
-
3-0.... Looks like the big chap could be back quicker than expected if he doesn't get his passport/mobile nicked again...
-
Must admit, I've got Klos and Goram mixed up... Goram's kicking was superb (as was Waterreus' when he joined) but Klos' was dreadful...
-
Don't think he's left yet but I'd imagine they'll bring in Stilic to replace him...

Kyle Lafferty opens his heart on debt claims - and Old Firm horror tackle
Frankie replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Lafferty is everyone's favourite fall guy at the moment which is all the more reason he needs to stay out of the papers and knuckle down behind the scenes to improve the faults in his game. -
The Sun suggest this fella has signed for £1.9million...

Very good point!
-
Yeah, seen this a few times - imagine the reaction of the press if this happened now. Goram would be in the jail this week!

Very poor performance again yesterday but considering the two injuries to a further two key players before half-time it isn't really a surprise we're a bit disjointed at the moment. The dreadful decision to award Accies a penalty also didn't help obviously and in the end a draw was probably a fair result. What does concern me is that management team's insistence on playing players out of position. Andy Little is a lot of things but he's not a right midfielder - same as Kyle Lafferty. I was also puzzled at the decision to bring on Thomson ahead of Edu who had played last week. A little bit more consistency in selection means we'd perhaps be a little more consistent in our displays.

Mr Chester is still doing a grand job since rejoining us under Smith mate....

Like has happened at Rangers, Lloyds may have been happy with a restructuring of the MIH debts which explains the sale of at least one high profile property in the PPG portfolio.
