  1. With Smith, Whittaker and Broadfoot all capable of covering for Papac it makes sense for Kinniburgh to obtain some first team experience on loan... Depending on Steven Smith's long term future it may secure Kinniburgh's place in the squad for next season.
  2. Nah, this is a new publication mate...
  3. Don't be sorry mate... That is a fantastic post which I'm sure many people will agree completely with.
  4. Yep, time he was dropped. Doesn't look confident and is making too many key mistakes.
  5. Great points as always mate... With regard to your last minute winner subject, I think such a thing comes down to character, commitment, bottle and a smidgeon of luck. I think we're lacking in all 4 virtues so that might explain why such winners are so few in recent times.
  6. http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=716&Itemid=2 Some interesting stuff there. As I hinted at in the original article it is extremely obvious problems remain with all three main supporters' organisations. We really need strong and trustworthy leadership to examine these flaws, offer alternatives and provide solutions to address the subject properly. I'll post the results of the survey later in the week with further comment.
  7. You can also read an excellent review of the book from Super_Ally by clicking here... http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=714&Itemid=2
  8. In conjunction with our friends at John Blake Publishing, we have five copies of the following fantastic book available to win. Ally McCoist - Portrait of a Hero By Alistair Aird Ally McCoist is undoubtedly the finest Scottish goal-scorer of the last 30 years. In a career that spanned over two decades, he won the hearts and minds of legions of fans as he established himself as one of the most popular sporting personalities in the UK. Despite having ended his playing days five years ago, his appeal still endures and his regular television appearances have generated a new wave of admirers. Ally McCoist is truly here to stay! This wonderful book is a must read for any football fan or indeed for anyone captivated by this larger-than-life character. Alistair Aird is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, where he obtained a 1st Class Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 2000. An avid follower of his beloved Glasgow Rangers, his enjoyment of researching and writing about football in his spare time has given rise his first book. He lives in Maybole in Scotland with his wife Sharon. Buy here via the John Blake Website or by calling 0207 381 0666. http://www.johnblakepublishing.co.uk/e-store/product.php?productid=5673 To be in with a chance of winning one of 5 copies of this superb book, please email/pm me with the name of the English team from which Rangers signed McCoist. Entries accepted until midnight on Tuesday 23rd December. Admin decision is final.
  9. Good points mate...
  10. Welcome to the site mate... Like you, I'm a bit disappointed by the nature of what they seem to be offering but I guess if it helps raise money then we should back it. I'd want more for my £30 though. Although it does mention QandAs right enough.
  11. Will have you and your good lady down for a few drinks if you're here next weekend mate...
  12. http://www.sportswise.info/surveys/rangers/rangers.htm Seems like some sort of research pre-cursor to a 'Bar72' elsewhere in the stadium... A membership scheme is all well and good but the ideas in this survey seem rather limited and concentrated on raising funds as opposed to working with the fans properly. I have no problem with the club exploring money-making ideas - such seats don't interest me personally though - but if they want to continue to approach us for cash, then I expect more than an E-Xmas Card.
  13. I'll miss the game as I'm away for the weekend...
  14. Put this on the main site today... http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/313920642?-11344
  15. Nonsense IMO... "There/their" mistake doesn't lend the story much credence. Probably edited by someone playing silly buggers.
  16. No Hutton back to 'Gers in January then...

  18. Can we please keep the thread on-topic gentlemen? Please use this new thread for non-Rangers alternative theories... http://www.gersnetonline.net/vb/showthread.php?t=8967
  19. Link to main site version - http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/313709979?-11344 Enjoyed reading that mate... Generally it's very easy for all of us to be negative about this season so far. The Kaunas capitulation, the inconsistency, the poor league results and the injury to Thomson. However, there have been good signs. A better quality of football, the partnership up front, investment into the team and the superb win over Celtic. The 4 point gap is the main thing to take though. It's not the biggest lead in the world but it will prove difficult to haul in with Celtic now out of Europe as well. It will take hard work, passion, commitment and belief. Like most fans, I doubt we have that, but I'll try my damnedest at games to support them towards another title.
  20. Great stuff. Him and Kinniburgh are both rated highly which is why we may be letting Smith go I guess...
  21. Of course, The Sun failed to mention last week that his companions in Karbon had to apologise for his actions. Like the Lennon Lane incident, one would hope the fact both individuals seem so reticent to comment would speak volumes. Yet, we have the usual people clambering over themselves to be offended and seek justice on their behalves. When one looks at the likes of Ross/Brand lately, just when will people start to realise our Scottish Establishment are only making the problems and tension in Scottish football worse?
  22. How the likes of Keevins maintains a place in the media really is beyond me. We don't like him, Celtic fans can't stand him and he offers next to nothing in credible reporting of the game. Thank Laudrup, I can't listen to Clyde through here.
  23. The whole thing is a sham and I'd be livid if either of these failed organisations were given more money to waste simply to pay lip service to what is not a football specific problem.
  24. It's strange that any time I asked these two organisations/charities/publicly funded bodies to comment on my report into the sectarianism in football working group, they never got back to me. Not once. One would think they'd be eager to work with ordinary fans, tax-payers and people willing to make constructive suggestions?
  25. That will be our fault then...?
