Rangers linked to Danish defender and Italian striiker
Frankie replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Talks on Bendtar as progressing well apparantly. Season long loan. Di Vaio is 30 IIRC and not a bad player. However, we cannot afford £4million. Don't know anything about the other potential trialist. -
Ricksen's lack of remorse makes me just as angry as his initial alleged behaviour. He disgusts me and the quicker he leaves, or is preferably sacked, the better.
-
I don't want speculation about this. Rangers should comment soon on what happened and until then I'd prefer we used our brains and didn't spread false and unfounded stories. Dignity.
-
Yep, I don't want to read anyone speculating about this. No-one knows what has happened and we're just lucky that we now have a manager who seems able not to take crap from a player whose discipline problems have always outshown his actual talent. A player on a lot of money who has treated our club and by association the people who pay his wages (you and I) with disdain. I hope he is sacked tomorrow.
-
No chance. There is speculating and there is dreaming. That goes for the other threads as well with players that we firstly cannot afford and secondly would struggle to attract to an average league and no CL football.

Crazy from ZZ...
-
I'd go for Sweinsteiger and Gattuso We're covered at left back with the outstanding Stevie Smith.
-
Radoi, from Steua Bucharest.... not that I believe this rumour of course as I reckon he's out of our budget,
-
No thanks. Would rather have Webster or this Romanian we've been linked to.
-
We won't qualify but with Walter Smith and some exciting younger players we can achieve the realistic primary aim of lowering our coefficient enough to be seeded better for the WC 2010 qualifing draw. We have to start somewhere and the games against France and Italy will give these young players superb experience for future campaigns and hopefully finals participation.
-
He's primarily a central defensive midfielder who can play left midfield if required. I'd imagine we might be converting him to that position or using him, Ferguson and Ricksen in a midfield 3.
-
Rae has played left midfield for Dundee before as his Clement for Lyon... Ricksen did well.
-
Niklos Bentdar or something like that. A fine young prospect who is as good as Elmander IMO.
-
Didn't think we'd sign him and Clement... Looks like the young Danish lad at Arsenal on loan is more likely now.

Danny, gersnet has never been the busiest of forums and not everyone has RangersTV to view the game. Hence, although it was an important match, discussion was never going to be too widespread. Hopefully once the season starts discussion will increase but most of us quite like the quieter atmosphere in here. It's easier to get your point across, there are less idiots, no timposters and like I do, you can still use other forums if you need to reach a wider audience. I agree it can sometimes be frustrating but if we all keep posting as much as we can interest will rise come the start of the season. We're also all open to ideas and suggestions on how to improve.

Latest News: 1st goal Buffel http://www.zippyvideos.com/1875370275533806/mvi_2795/ 2nd goal Boyd Burke taken off injured.

Well done del then...
-
Aye, I remember last season... Great job as usual mate.
-
Doubt Andy Gray would give up his highly paid Sky role, but he is the best summariser... Have Gordon Smith in the studio and I'd be pretty happy.
-
Good news... Hopefully the chap can regain his form of the 2002 World Cup in come in useful as an attacking central midfielder.
-
Obviously not. I prefer the mute button myself when any of those clowns are on. Although Broon has been binned for Ian Crocker last I heard...
