  1. Yeah, watched the game at ian1964's house and I said the same - the only way we'd lose goals was to set pieces. Our defence, well the central defence anyway, is awful when defending crosses and set-pieces. Conversely our own are also terrible.
  2. Jim Hannah is one guy at the club who still seems prepared to help Rangers fans instead of hinder them.
  3. I thought Hutton did OK yesterday. Made a few decent tackles but must improve his distribution and positioning.

  5. I reckon you'd do a fine job on the left wing Barry... or should that be right?
  6. I thought the defence did well generally also... Couple of early, nervous errors but other than we coped well with their dangerous players who had scored against Auxerre.
  7. Did give us 2 penalties though.... First one certainly wasn't a foul but 2nd one definitely was. I guess that evens out the Livorno decision. Now just the ones given against us in the SPL to even out...
  8. A 4-3-3 would enable all 3 to play together and I think that would be ideal. I think it depends on what central defence we use. I'm not sure who to play in there to be honest. Papac, Hemdani, J-Rod and Svensson all have their fair share of weakness and I'm not sure which combination we should use to cope with the more physical and direct Scottish game. I'd certainly have Papac as first choice and I wouldn't like to see Hemdani dropped but at this moment in time I'm still undecided about his defensive qualities. Jury remains out for me.
  9. Possibly mate but take it from me, barring a crisis, Klos won't play for us again. Neither, going by his awful attitude, does he want to.
  10. If anyone seen Klos play for the Reserves the other day, they wouldn't want this now shadow of his former itself anywhere near the first team.
  11. Now, that McGregor has signed a new contract I think he might stay in goal this time.
  12. I think 'confused' is the best description
  13. Not very well.... Even their protester from last night failed.
  14. Guy on pitch had a Pope Benedict t-shirt on...
  15. I really like wee Smith. He has his limits in some ways but he's solid and very professional in his attitude. A bit of work on his passing and concentration and he could be a very important player over the coming years.
  16. What goes around, comes around for that dirty barsteward.
  17. You'll have the BBC reporting that Chris...
  18. Well, Klos leaves at the end of the season and so will Ricksen with a bit of luck. That frees up nearly £60K per week in wages right away.
  19. Can't disagree with that mate... PS: Am in process of dealing wth that wee thing we discussed.
  20. Wouldn't surprise me mate. They have been somewhat of a bogey team for us in recent seasons.
  21. Great post for the most part calscot... Think you should be a bit more patient with Sebo but other than that found myself nodding generally. Unfortunately, unless our chairman invests serious money into the team, we just don't have the cash for the major surgery we require.
  22. I think Martin is backing training but Sionko is to be out for another week or so. It could be the other way round but I can't remember exactly.
  23. Too true. Hopefully the posts they read on here and elsewhere will help to that end.
  24. FT: I sympathise with folk like Bobby. If one isn't online or doesn't read the fanzines it's not easy to find out information the rest of us now take for granted. As such, many fans - the vast majority in fact - don't have all the facts to hand before making judgments on Murray or anyone else. Therefore, we need to educate these people - not condemn. As well as finding out a way of how to get the message to the masses, of course. That's the real difficulty here.
  25. The article is a good one and it shows that Darryl King is hurting just like the rest of us. We expect more. And now we should demand it.
