In that case, where would it be acceptable for investment to come from? The Middle East, SE Asia, Russia, China, Ayrshire? I suggest to you the issue isn't where the money comes from but the conditions set out in the Sharesale Agreement.
-
That's only because we had so many seasons with very low income. The FPP restrictions on Rangers will ease over the next few years as the average income over the assessment period rises. In any case FPP is more relaxed about money invested by significant owners.

It might help if they didn't make clear in advance of any discussion their animosity and negative intent towards the board. Club1872 doesn't want a discussion, it wants a crucifixion. I hope there's no remaining belief that Club1872 has the best interests of Rangers at heart. That it continues to accept fans' money on such obviously false pretences is unforgivable.
-
Club1872 has been reduced to an aimless bitching platform for a group of people who are struggling to be as important and influential as they imagine themselves to be. By far the best thing they can do is reimburse fans’ money and disband.

Durrant was also unlucky to get his injury at a time when medical treatment was a long way short of what it is today.

No more whining about lack of progress then.

OK, I get the suspicion. I feel it myself. But you cannot get investment into Rangers without risk, it doesn’t exist. So I state the choice again - accept the status quo or open the door to new investors. It looks like many here want the present situation to continue.

It’s a good job we have your magnificent nose on the job. Care to share your insights?

You probably won’t believe this but stating the bleeding obvious adds nothing to the debate.

Along with wealth, business experience, financial acumen and commitment.

Thanks, tis done. Let's see how it goes over the next couple of weeks or so.

It's fairly clear Rangers would benefit from appropriate new faces on the board. Every team needs freshened up periodically but it would be grossly unfair to suggest the current board hasn't made a very significant contribution to the club's recovery. I hope no Rangers fans will forget that and any campaign of criticism of Parks/Bennett/etc would be embarrassing. There's more than a hint of the club standing still at the moment and it's simply time to energise and move forward again. Which is why its so disappointing to see the visceral reluctance among some fans to contemplate new investors. Without new blood with skin in the game I think the likely outcome will be more stagnation.

Have you considered Ochilview? I understand their ticketing system is second to none…. No tickets required.

Napoli 2 Rangers 2 FGS - Kent -
There's no reason I can see why Tamundo can't be making real contributions in this Rangers team but it's clear he doesn't believe he has the confidence of the coaching staff. Like some others, his confidence appears shot to pieces and I worry about the apparent inability of this coaching group to lift players out of their gloom. Perhaps this is pain we (they) need to go through to be stronger in the long run but I feel myself slowly accepting the inevitability of a change of manager.

I agree. There are very few easy decisions here ... and ever fewer guarantees.
-
No one won any prizes for that awful display but I voted for Ryan Kent, something I haven't done for a long time. He looked committed and tried hard for periods ... and he did have some reasonable output.
-
There doesn't seem to be an ounce of enthusiasm among the playing staff, no enjoyment. I'm beginning to think Mr Dull is simply sucking the energy out of the squad. He seems to think leadership and motivation is conveyed only in words.
-
We get it. It was a shit performance, no one was especially good and you feel you need to make a statement. But enough of this "non-award" nonsense. There is always a MOTM, even if it is only least worst. It's always relative and never absolute.

I see Leon Balogun scored the winner for QPR today. For very little money he could have been still playing for us.
-
I'm damned if I can see any difference between what's being served by Gerrard or Van Bronckhorst's teams.

It's hard to play football when you're shitting your shorts, terrified of making mistakes. Like a deer in the headlights.

Match Thread [FT] Rangers 1 (Lundstram 90+1) - 1 Livingston

I remember that clearly. It was a disgrace but it did serve to expose the catastrophic inability of many Rangers fans to think for themselves. Every single one of those who abused the protestors that day was shown to be utterly wrong.
