Are they all called Nathan then?
-
So which one are we signing then ... is it this Ohoforb bloke or that Oborhof and Ofobroh pair I keep reading about?
-
Can you imagine the stooshie that would cause? Amongst others, Partick were undoubtedly victims of panic at the SPFL but, let's face it, no club has suffered more than Rangers at the hands of these absolute bastards or has more justification in barring the doors to them. I'm sure every Rangers fan that read about Partick's decision immediately thought the same as you Compo.

.... and, frankly, that's the only worthwhile comment that needed to be made.

You might be right but I doubt if "many" would be the right word. Anyone who doesn't have an internet connection won't be able to access RTV. But I think that would be the only barrier, other than cost of course.
-
I didn't realise Celtic was in the same league as Rangers.
-
Correct. When folks have RTV available but still choose Sportscene to watch Rangers then they deserve the garbage they get.
-
I remember thinking at the time that there would be repercussions for Walker.

It was Goldson that Davis saved but there appears to be a celebration emerging that after months of searching we've finally got our scapegoat back. And you know how dearly we cherish our scapegoats. Otherwise surely we would be cataloguing the mistakes of every player yesterday.

Simpson played no worse and at least as well as every other CB at the club today after 3 or 4 appearances. There is absolutely no basis on which to regard him negatively. None. There again, all the rest received the same dubious wisdom at the start of their Rangers career so maybe it's just a necessary rite of passage.
-
I hope we don't lose Helander but if we do then I'm confident Simpson will fill any gap. Players come and go. It doesn't matter who it is, the team goes on. No one plays better because they're undermined for no good reason.
-
God but we're hard to please. Simpson played well today, it would be churlish to say otherwise. We need to stop the negativity about this player.
-
I can't disagree with anything said about Davis or Kent, who were superb but I've broken ranks and gone (not went!) for our captain, who I thought had a really good game. Tav has been prone to returning from injury and taking an age to recover decent form but today he looked like someone who going to keep an aspiring young fullback waiting a while yet.

The funny thing is I read much the same expressions of doubt about every CB we've signed in the last three years. For a long time Goldson was a calamity, Helander was criticised on here as woefully slow, Katic a positional liability, Balogun couldn't pass, etc ...... sometime in the future I hope we might learn it takes time to assess a player's worth and to judge them when they leave rather than when they've just arrived.
-
Away you go. Simpson has hardly put a foot wrong when he's been in the team.
