Channel 4 News: Child Abuse Scandal in Scottish Football
Bill replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Actually, when you see some of the perversions the SNP is introducing our schoolchildren to, it would be an act of sheer hypocrisy for them to question the paedophile circus at Celtic. -
Would this be a bad time to regret the loss of Josh Windass? Thought so.

Football season 'could be declared "null and void"

I’ll go with that ? -
God no.

The last people I want to hear from are those players. Far too often we've had to listen to empty platitudes from players. Their place for demonstrating remorse is on the park, nowhere else.
-
Of course it will. As bad as it feels today, after what we've been through these last 8 years, I can cope with this. Steven Gerrard publicly apologised for that performance today, that's all I needed to hear for now.
-
This is definitely a crisis but like all genuine crises it's also an opportunity to break inertia and change direction. There are two realistic options for all of us - either give up supporting Rangers .... or go again.
-
I think he'll be surprised how much support he'll get if he does.
-
Absolutely right. All he has to do is ask and we'll back him. But I don't think the same goes for some of our players who are clearly finished at Rangers now.
-
I hope he doesn't. He's brought so much in his time with us. But he does have a lot still to learn and I fear he doesn't have anyone around him to learn it from. This isn't the EPL. Souness had Walter, Gerrard doesn't. I will be mortified if this good man leaves.
-
It's been said many times that you need real steel to manage Rangers. I guess we're about to find out if SG has it, although God knows where we go if he walks.
-
Gerrard says he is responsible for that performance and "has some serious thinking to do over the next few hours". Which sounds a bit ominous. He also said we have a "dressing room full of leaders" which worries me even more. He looked as if he'd finally tasted the pressure that comes with failure at Rangers.
-
We've provided to only two moments of light in an otherwise awful season for Hearts. Fair play to them, they understand how powderpuff we are and they took full advantage both times.
-
Talking about Walter Smith, does anyone think those players would have thrown in the towel like that if Walter had been in charge. Sometimes it's less about management and more about leadership. We certainly have no leadership on the pitch and I've a growing realisation that we don't have enough leadership off it, either in the dugout or the boardroom. We seem to be merely treading water.
-
Where do we go from here? How do you pick up the pieces after that? It’s a complete collective failure.
-
Cowards. Spineless cowards. They shat it and gave up. None more so than our captain.
-
Anyone still questioning referee cheating against Rangers has just had all doubts removed.
-
What concerns me is that Davis should be taken off but the only plausible replacement is Kamara. How can these players all be so off form at the same time?
-
Our control of the ball in midfield is so poor it wouldn't matter who was playing up front. If you can't deliver the ball to your striker you'd be as well giving him a cup of tea and a sofa.

No problems here

Great opportunity for Greg Stewart. I hope he takes it.

The right thing to do would be to close the season early and award championships and decide relegation/promotion as things stand at the time. -

Whenever the SNP government thinks there's a risk it might be compelled get involved in something it desperately wants to avoid, it hands it off to its tame police service. That way it knows the matter will be taken out of circulation for a considerable period while simultaneously excusing the SNP from expressing any view on it. The police in Scotland might have an iota of credibility if it had investigated this squalid farce long ago. Being seen to be anything other than protective of the Celtic family is an existential threat to the SNP. -

As far as I can see there’s no traction at all in Scotland and no sign of it starting any time soon. Far too many people covering far too many backs, all complicit, all mutually dependent on not rocking this particular boat.
