  1. But it doesn’t apply until the season after next. By which time we’ll be champions.
  2. Is that the same press that's studiously ignored the child abuse issue for 50 years with no call for sporting punishments?
  3. As they proved yesterday, they can do that without the CL.
  4. Why are we so keen to have a second CL place that would allow Celtic to take part?
  5. Can't we do both? Can't they be attacked for their coverup of child abuse while also being attacked for having accrued unfair sporting and financial advantage. Doesn't it mean they have to try to defend on more than one front? Rather than diluting anything, doesn't it just increase the overall pressure? Personally, I've never mentioned titles but I do see the football side of things as a convenient means of also applying pressure to a complicit SFA.
  6. All very laudable and correct but after all these years of denying there even had been any abuse, when they absolutely knew it had taken place and actively covered it up, and with a great deal more still to come to light, I think any pressure that can be brought to bear on that awful club, from whatever angle, is good pressure. It's in Celtic's DNA to keep on denying the truth, perpetuating the myth that they're a thoroughly moral and successful organisation, without a blemish on their character. It is incumbent on everyone who knows that to be deeply dishonest to attack that lie from any and every angle. There's no room for virtue signalling about the proper approach where Celtic is concerned.
  7. It's a pleasure to be involved at this stage. We'll play at least 18 European games this season, which in itself is a remarkable achievement for a club at our stage of reconstruction. Leverkusen certainly won't relish playing us, so I'm not going to worry about them or credit them with a status they don't deserve.

    MotM v Braga

I thought by far the most industrious and effective of our midfielders was again Ryan Jack, whose work rate and discipline was exemplary. However, with a result like the other night you really have to credit the defenders and while Connor Goldson was probably the best player on the park, I've voted for George Edmundson because his achievement of coming into the side with little game time and even less experience and still reaching the level of performance he did was just outstanding.
  9. Yes but it's clear no one is actually taking them to task in any way at all. Not once have they changed direction or in any way reduced their attacks of our club. I wish it were otherwise but that's the truth of it. Nothing the club or supporters have said or done has had the slightest impact on the BBC. I'm all for informing others of the BBC's bias but if you pay the licence fee you're supporting them to do what they do.
  10. Surely someone is monitoring dark side social media and will convey some amusing excerpts ?
  11. That's a £million they'll have to find from somewhere else to cover, ahem, legal costs.
  12. Celtic FC ..... forever to be known as The Paedophiles ..... or The Child Molestors? No amount of money will ever wipe away that stain.
  13. Heats 0 Rangers 3 fgs Stewart
  14. Tonight was a reminder how much we miss Ryan Jack when he's not available. I thought him, Scott Arfield and Connor Goldson were immense but there wasn't really a failure tonight and it's a long time since that was the case. And imagine being a Braga fan turning up to see that fantastic Rangers support in your own back yard.
  15. Isn't that something special, what an achievement.
  16. Just watched a replay and it wasn't anywhere near the post.
  17. Don’t you just wish Tav could cross a ball?
  18. Anywhere he’s needed
  19. No doubt Aribo will play his part in this game
  20. So, if anyone is unhappy with the BBC, are you still watching it and paying its licence fee?
  21. A question for the doubters. What would it take to convince you of referee corruption - deliberately taking decisions that disadvantage Rangers and deliberately taking decisions to favour Celtic? You're never going to get it in writing, nor are you going to get a guilty referee confessing anything (well not unless you're a Catholic priest anyway), so what is it you expect to see that you're not seeing today?
  22. All we're missing is the branch of this paedophile ring that extended into the SFA/League organisation itself. Because I've no doubt it's there somewhere.
  23. Since we're airing personal "beliefs" about the Scottish football authorities and their foot soldiers, the referees, here's my thoughts. I've watched the game for over half a century and in that time I've seen things change from being mildly pro-Rangers to profoundly the opposite. "Things" being the way games are refereed, how punishments are meted out and how games are presented by the media. There's no doubt in my mind that at one time things generally tended to go in favour of Rangers on the park, and certainly in the media, but that changed somewhere along the way. I've often thought when it was that Rangers became disadvantaged. I think any preferential treatment we enjoyed disappeared during Celtic's NIAR years but it wasn't until the Souness years that we became pariahs in our own back yard and since then our relationship with authority has been universally disagreeable. In the last 10-15 years this has become an active vendetta. I am clear in my mind there is a specific and sustained attempt by the authorities to damage Rangers. There is no question remaining that this is translated on the pitch to deliberate cheating by several referees. The only surprise left for me is that there should still be supporters who prefer to deny this. In a country where denial and cover-up are fundamental aspects of life, where decades of child abuse by the Catholic Church and a major sporting organisation can simply be swept under the carpet, is the notion of institutional cheating really so difficult to accept? Several people said to me at the start of this season that Rangers would not be allowed to win Celtic's title and so it has panned out. This isn't sport any more, it's tribal dominance at any cost, whatever it takes.
  24. Braga 3 Rangers 2 Kamberi
