It's certainly a push in the right direction but I fundamentally disagree that much or all of the offending media cannot be excluded from Ibrox. What this amounts to is a gentle threat to do so but it will, as always, be ignored and we will still be faced with what is the only choice for Rangers - exclude them all or lie down in the gutter. The hesitation to do so shows the same old lack of courage that has characterised Rangers leadership for more than a generation.

Silence, Stupidity & Self Awareness (Lack thereof)
Bill replied to D'Artagnan's topic in Rangers Chat
Anyone singling out those few words as crass and undignified is effectively deflecting from the point being made, which is plain stupid. Who are these self-aggrandising plonkers who insist on putting style before substance every time the opposite is appropriate. -
After a long and disappointing run of poor performances, Scott Arfield has been making a good contribution lately and Saturday saw him approaching his displays of last season. Without hesitation and for the first time in a long time, I thought Scott deserved to be MOTM.

Good enough for what?

This distinction looks increasingly stark with every statement. However, it's also relevant to remember that our PR person didn't appoint himself. The dispiriting truth is that we continue to need changes well above the level of PR. We think this has been a long journey but I think very few appreciate just how far we still have to travel.

When I see a stream of posts commending a club statement, it's often a good indicator that the statement was in fact written for supporter consumption as opposed to influencing those to whom it appears to be directed.
-
Slight digression. I see Dave King was robbed at gunpoint in South Africa and I'm sure this will also be a source of great amusement the next time the BBC gets round to discussing football.
-
As long as the club continues to welcome these people and organisations to Ibrox, no cleverly crafted statement will achieve anything. In fact it could just as easily be construed as a means of body swerving any practical action.
-
I think you'll find the contents of that statement will quickly be ridiculed in exactly the same quarters that it refers to. Be absolutely sure of one thing. The treatment of Morelos has nothing to do with poor judgement or a failure of editorial control. It is deliberate, calculated and vindictive, so hoping to shame those responsible into a change of heart shows a forlorn misunderstanding of the depth of bigotry and bitter hatred burning inside so much of what used to be a decent country to live in.

I thought that's where we'd been for a long time now. -
I blame the EU, the SNP and international communism.

Can't see it. Too many votes required from clubs who are eager for the additional income of a replay. -

That's the whole point and, frankly, the story of our season - good chances but no goals. Chances don't win matches. -

As it turns out at half time, Kamara has been one of the few plusses -

Definitely not good enough. They play the game like they're still on a training pitch at Auchenhowie. A very disappointing first half. They seem to be going backwards week by week.We could do with some genuine leadership on the park. -

Brave manager starting with Kamara after recent performances. Hope it works out. -
In what way is she "Gersnet's very own"? I've not been here forever but I never see her participating in anything on Gersnet. That's fair enough in itself but hardly merits the epithet you award her.
-
On reflection I'd just like to add that, while I've never attached much importance to Club1872 and while there is an entire spectrum of reasons why people put themselves forward for these roles, I do think it's commendable where there are people who do so only for the good of the club and the supporters.

Only if you get caught.. Unless you're a Govt minister with perversions..

Bill replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I think we can assume that under no circumstances will Rangers be allowed to win anything this season. We could field the greatest football team in history and it would make no difference to the outcome. We can see clearly what is happening and who is implementing this agenda. What is most impressive is the ability of a small number of instigators to control so effectively so many referees, commentators, etc. Everyone knows what is going on but not one person its prepared to break ranks and call it out, not even anyone at Rangers. Like I say, that's impressive. -
Bad luck but it won't make a blind bit of difference who got elected. Club1872 is hemmed in on all sides, confined by its pedigree and its incredibly limited objectives.
