  1. It probably has something to do with the flares at the UB 15th anniversary game (against Hibs). Gave the Police an excuse to step in and the club have not bothered to stand up for the fans. Amazing what that lot get away with (sectarian effigies, IRA sloganeering etc.), whilst we get shafted time and time again. Welcome to modern Scotland.
  2. I usually accept a draw at the Piggery. At Ibrox, only a win is ever acceptable. They have a manager who can't make eye contact. That's just a starting point on their general disgustingness. Kick off with the right attitude and we can beat them. They're no great shakes, despite what their cheerleaders claim.
  3. All the more reason to take a Union Flag, a Boyne Standard, a Saltire or a Red Hand of Ulster.
  4. I hope the ball boys have been told to delay getting the ball back to their players.
  5. If we do go behind, I hope our players at least put in some hefty challenges and we don't see another gutless capitulation.
  6. I actually like flares and general misbehaviour at the football but that bloody drum only goes with ultra chants, whilst ruining the more traditional songs. Things like Every Other Saturday, Follow Follow and the Ulster tunes naturally change time throughout, so the metronomic nature of it doesn't work.
  7. Hopefully we're focused on getting rid of some of the deadwood and bringing in a couple of starters (GK and midfield, preferably). We have quite enough squad fillers.
  8. That drum sucks the life out of all the best songs.
  9. I can't see us winning on Monday either, unfortunately. Our squad is full of injured players and others who are over the hill. The midfield is poor and that's where these games tend to be won and lost.
  10. I think a lot of it comes down to habit/ritual and they don't enjoy going to watch Rangers. There also seems to be a bit of a disconnect between the club/squad and support at the moment, which is making it a bit worse than usual. I'm sick of the sight of many members of the current squad (I tend not to moan at matches though, other than an occasional "FFS" outburst).
  11. https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/police-investigating-reckless-behaviour-celtic-25827742 "Detectives investigating incidents of culpable and reckless conduct at Celtic Park in May have released images of three men they want to speak to in connection." I must've missed the news about scientists successfully cloning Owen Archdeacon! No wonder it seems like these monobrowed dimwits are multiplying at an alarming rate.
  12. Keep winning, get players back and the confidence will return. I still think we need to move players on and replace them with better too.
  13. To be fair, even when at his best Morelos has a tendency to miss sitters.
  14. No way. Matondo had plenty of time to make a decision and had the option to shoot or pass it. He looks completely bereft of confidence.
  15. Celtc aren't exactly thumping anyone at the moment either. We didn't play well tonight but were largely in control and if Kamara, Sakala and Matondo had managed to get a decent shot away we'd have walked it. Did folk expect us to waltz matches with a new manager, despite the horrendous injury list and lack of confidence in the squad?
  16. It's Friday night, Rangers were playing and I'm off work until Wednesday but amazingly, I haven't touched a drop tonight, mainly because I've been ill all week.
  17. We know what to get you for Christmas then. A new personalty to go with your other six.
  18. Apparently Matondo's contracted until 2025. 😱
  19. Nights like tonight make me miss going to away games. "When I was young, I had no sense...".
  20. You think everyone there was under 15? 🤣 Tommy Burns knew about goings on at their boys club. I'll leave it at that.
  21. 1-0, 3 points. That's the main thing. Great to hear some old tunes from the support. 🇬🇧
  22. Definitely. We're being physically bullied by them.
  23. Not a great first half but we're winning. You'd think we were losing reading some of the posts on here.
  24. The whole 'world cup break' hasn't really done us any favours on the injury front.
  25. From what's been said, I doubt Kamara will start and Colak and Roofe are still unavailable. Just win, Rangers!
