I'm not sure about that. Some do, some don't. I'm a great believer in altering how you play depending on the opposition. I'd go all out attack against all the Scottish diddy teams and at home to the scum but be far more defensive against Euro opponents and at the Piggery. I think GvB changes things far more often than SG or Warburton did but he's just a poor manager and the players aren't buying into his ideas.

Not sacking him will be more to do with finance than delusion. GvB has probably achieved most of the objectives set for him (Euro run and subsequent CL qualification). I think he'll still be in charge when the scum turn up and beat us in January, unfortunately.

Not impossible but highly unlikely. Most of the injured players aren't due back well into the New Year and GvB did worse with a better squad during the second half of last season. Paedo FC aren't dropping points against other teams and our record against them since Gerrard left is awful. The 2022/23 league is done, in my opinion. The remainder of the season should be about trying to win the cups and preparing for next season. Oh and St Mirren can't compete against a club with our spending capability, so today's game should be an easy win*. *sarcasm

I think MacK has misread or misunderstood your comment, which implied the training or tactics are at fault, rather than the players (or at least that's the way I read it).
