  1. In the words of a Tanzanian freak, "I want it all and I want it now!".
  2. Realistically, all three of our group stage opponents should be giving us a hiding but this squad have exceeded expectations previously and can do it again.
  3. GvB deserves to see out the CL groups. I agree with gunslinger though, if we go out of Europe and our domestic form doesn't improve, it might be time to look at alternatives. Our away form in 2022 has been nothing short of a disgrace.
  4. It's ideal world scenario stuff. We'll continue shopping in the bargain basement and hoping for more Basseys and Aribos. Recently, our two most promising youths were snapped up by Chelsea and Everton before they really broke into the first team.
  5. Because of the requirements at Rangers, we'll likely never see many youths making it as first team regulars. We'll get one or two every five years or so and that's being optimistic.
  6. That's the impression I got. When a bunch of blokes* are pointing out the Celtc quick free-kick/corner/throw-in tactic in the first two or three minutes but the players haven't picked up on it by full-time, it makes you wonder what's going on. *my mates and me and probably Bears up and down the country and at the match.
  7. I expect we'll lose by a couple in Amsterdam and then draw at Pittodrie. I hope I'm wrong.
  8. There's definitely a problem when the players aren't doing the basics. Not doing the basics resulted in all four goals. Quite unbelievable!
  9. Wonder if Brendan will be looking for a job soon. Any Bears fancy him for our job? 🤣
  10. Domestically, we're a predictable side. We play too cautiously. I don't understand this managerial approach where they just have one way of playing. Warburton and Gerrard both did it. GvB seems a bit more flexible but not much. If something isn't working, change it.
  11. I'm not sure how any Rangers man could avoid being a bit huffy after yesterday's match.
  12. The league is our bread and butter - it's an old cliché but it's true. I can accept losing to the scum if we play well and put up a good fight - we did neither yesterday.
  13. Getting to the EL final and qualifying for the CL have been hugely beneficial to the club's finances and GvB was the manager for both. I'm not excusing our crap domestic record but...
  14. We don't play them again until January, which is a full four months away. Our squad and management can definitely turn things around and beat them at Ibrox - to suggest otherwise is raising the white flag after a handful of matches.
  15. They don't seem particularly bothered. Plenty of friendly chats and cuddles after we got absolutely battered. That demonstrates a lack of pride, in my opinion.
  16. We have two No.2 goalkeepers.
  17. We were placed on the UEFA FFP watchlist recently. No it isn't. No.
  18. So are the players not listening to the coaches or are they just happy to roll over and get pumped at the Piggery? Worrying.
  19. Aye, was shocking to watch it again and again and again. You can't excuse that level of negligence.
  20. GvB will definitely get the see out the CL group stage. Probably longer, unless things go really tits up.
  21. Losing to much more expensively assembled teams isn't really being 'found out'. The domestic situation is the real concern, particularly our away form. We knew how Celtc would play yesterday but the team didn't look prepared at all. Why was that!?
  22. Agreed. The back four and the keeper were all poor, in a defensive sense, yesterday.
  23. I've voted for Barisic because his crosses were the only good thing we did yesterday.
  24. I don't even think Celtc are that good. We made them look like superstars by playing so slowly/poorly. We're definitely missing something in midfield.
  25. That, Goldson not telling that yahoo, who was cuddling him when he was down injured, to f*ck off and GvB cuddling the fat Australian after the match - these things were all symbolic of our piss poor attitude yesterday. No real pride or passion - we're far too nice.
