  1. I'm always in a bit of a mood just prior to games against them.
  2. We have a big squad and a big injury list (Lawrence the latest) - I won't be stamping my feet if we don't bring anyone in but I think we'll struggle to cope with the 'two a week' fixtures as things stand. If that lot win the league again, a combination of our terrific work in Europe and our stuttering domestic form will have made them millions.
  3. We need a league winning side. That's the be all and end all.
  4. I was thinking more about Sakala and Roofe.
  5. They're weird. But some of our fans aren't much better, in the paranoia stakes.
  6. Getting Katic and Simpson off the wage bill - positive. More to follow, hopefully...
  7. You brought party politics into it, buster.
  8. Assuming anyone who likes a Union Flag is a Tory or right wing is part of the reason the Labour party find themselves in such a mess. The display against Inter, with a big Union Flag and two Saltires, looked magnificent.
  9. You know how yahoos swarm all over any Rangers related article, well they also watch our matches, listening out for nasty songs or looking out for Masonic refereeing. The freaks that they are!
  10. I think he took a sore one at the end of the Ross County match.
  11. Rangers often play better when things are going against us.
  12. Anyone donating to the UBs knows exactly what it's for, so the UBs can't be accused of wasting cash.
  13. The name-calling doesn't do either side any favours. Some people want a football match to be a nice, polite place, where any songs, chants or banners are ethical and responsible. The rest of us enjoy the tribalism, rivalry and nastiness that is being gradually sucked out of it. The former lot are definitely winning and should be glad that the nasty elements will soon be priced out of attending matches, so they can enjoy their pleasant match days in peace and tranquility. 😀
  14. We get lambasted whatever we do. It's an evidence based factual statement that Celtc fans don't like being reminded about. It's being sung at a football ground, not in a court of law. The Spotlight team are doing a great job of raising the issue via the proper channels.
  15. Dinosaurs, cavemen, knuckledraggers, gammon etc. Learned stuff. 😀
  16. Online football fans are generally a bit deranged, particularly of the Rangers variety. Christ, you even get some upset about us singing BJK. 🤣
  17. Definitely too early to write the lad off but there are similarities with Sakala - lots of pace but the brain doesn't seem to be keeping up with the feet.
  18. I thought Matondo looked promising against West Ham but he's not really stated his claim for the right side of attack since then. Bit worrying.
  19. Hopefully a big Union Flag display, like we had against Inter Milan in the 00s.
  20. Not much point spending loads of money if the referees are all out to get us. 🤣
  21. They are indeed but Bill referred to "average music concert". I don't really get the gig comparison because: a) Big acts tend not to play in the same place every other week. b) Some of the best musicians I've ever seen were playing in pubs and charging £3 entrance fee.
  22. I keep hearing prople quoting fees from player sales etc. but they rarely mention similar outgoings, wages or running costs. I also see the word 'greed' mentioned, in relation to the CL prices but who is being greedy? Are board members taking big bonuses or pay increases?
  23. This is true. I attend the odd lower league fixture and quite enjoy it. No mascots, after goal music, some brutal tackles and less play-acting on the pitch. A bit like a good gig in a spit and sawdust pub compared to boring stadium rock with 70 year olds. Football fans will always complain about prices, as sure as the sun rises in the morning.
  24. I go to quite a few gigs and can only think of two that have cost me more than £55. I think you might mean 'big name act', rather than 'average'. The emotional pull of Rangers can be difficult to pull away from.
