We chose not to take Souttar in January because Hearts insisted on a sell-on clause. The first competitive matches occur in a month's time. As much as it'd be good to get new players in as soon as possible, it's not an ideal world.

I agree but the sponsor (or multiple sponsors, unfortunately) is just something we have to tolerate. Funny thing is, all my Rangers supporting mates love the 92-94 shirt but I think it was by far the worst home top we've ever had (and I generally like adidas stuff). Plain is best for the home strip.

The last shirt I bought was the 2012 home top but I never wore it. Before that it was the orange Diadora top, which I only wore to a couple of matches. I like to see Rangers run out in a nice strip though (particularly the home one).

Rangers adverts either seem to have some pishy happy hardcore music or that atmospheric thing with an overly serious voiceover. Can we not just have some AC/DC or proper music? The shirt's okay. Might get one for the wee man.

It really depends on whether he's No.1 or not. If he starts the first league match, I think the concern is totally understandable. We lost a league title we should have won. McGregor was certainly involved in some of the needless points dropped. The league is the main priority, hence improvements need to be made because the scum will definitely add a few starters to their squad.

I think the issue with McGregor is more his inability to command the box than his age. It's a cause for concern whenever a decent cross comes in. He still makes some great saves but the blunders are increasing.

I'd say this sort of player profile fits right in to our budget. We'd all love Rangers to sign strikers who have scored regularly in the top leagues but we can't afford any of them.

Croat strikers tend to do quite well at Rangers. He hasn't had many appearances at PAOK, so maybe he's a bit out of favour there. They did change their manager after he signed.

Is he a first team regular? West Ham or Spurs... that's the question.
