It seems some are just dead against bringing in players on loan. I can see their point but the reasons are opinion, not fact, based. Loans will continue, so it's a bit of a pointless debate.

Gio's poor tactics, Barisic having a nightmare and McGregor not coming for the ball were all far more to blame for that horror show than Diallo (or Ramsey).

Fair point. You'd have to ask Ross Wilson/Gerrard/GvB to get a proper answer but I think they're generally considered a higher standard than our own youths.

I don't think our loanees were responsible for dropping points in Dingwall, going 2-0 down at home to Aberdeen, the late Hearts equaliser or f*cking up a 2-0 lead at home to Motherwell.

The Rangers management team have a tough time with youth prospects. Play them and things don't go well...P45. Don't play them and fans mump about it. It's a huge gamble playing youngsters for Rangers because we have to win every match (which is where I think a bigger league would help).

I think English is more objective than many of his colleagues. There's been a few barbed comments about us but he does the same with the yahoos. I fail to see why an Irish rugby fan is given the platform he is though.

I can see him getting into a side that looks to play good football. It's just guesswork at the moment though. If Southampton offer him £35k a week and we offer him £25k, I doubt he'd be returning to Scotland.

Footballers will go where the money is. If Southampton (for example) offer him the most money, that's where he'll go.

It might depend on what Gio wants to do. We might be looking at a complete overhaul or he might just want to bring in three or four new faces. I never pay too much attention to the annual figures, so you'll probably know better than me.
