  1. The club will offer the deal to bidders. Then they'll take the best deal on offer. Adidas may not have been interested. And if they were, they may have offered a few million less than Castore did. The deal is done, so we just have to wait and see what the gear looks like and whether they're capable of mass-production. Negativity regarding an email with bland, generic marketing lingo is a bit pointless - what did you expect Castore to say?
  2. They don't but Bisgrove suggests the figures are very good and I tend to think he knows what he's doing. Brands like Nike and adidas have premium products too but still sell football gear at market prices (which I think are ridiculous but that's another matter).
  3. There's a video interview with Bisgrove and one of the founders of Castore up on Rangers social media pages now. It's about 30 minutes long (I watched 4 minutes and got bored). All in all, it seems like a good deal and I'm looking forward to seeing the new strips. It's good to have a British company involved, rather than the usual brands, who would just give us generic templates. ??
  4. 75% of those looking at it are probably yahoos.
  5. I must admit, I do like the orange rectangle surrounding the two badges. Nice touch.
  6. Maybe Andy Murray can talk Maria Sharapova or Ana Ivanovic into modelling our new strip. ?
  7. That has certainly blown me over*. *sarcasm
  8. Fair enough. From the Get Ready thing last night, it seems there'll be something to see at 9am. I think the email from Castore was just a precursor to the actual announcement (but I could be mistaken). We'll find out in eleven minutes...
  9. The email from Castore isn't the actual launch. Not sure what you expect from an announcement about a kit partnership, to be honest - it's never going to be anything out of the ordinary.
  10. Does seem odd. Bank accounts don't sleep though (or adhere to Biblical guidelines).
  11. Saw that earlier. Hope it's a Doncaster meets Luca Brazi style headline but expect it'll be a new kit announcement
  12. If there is, they'll go for a team in a league that people outside that country want to watch. Scottish football is not adequate for ego ambitions (this has been very well demonstrated by recent events).
  13. The only time we should do that is when we've just won the European Cup and successfully campaigned to have Separate Entity FC moved to the Irish league.
  14. I'd say "not that far" means if we swap out a couple of players for better ones and get some leadership on the pitch, I think we could win the league in 2020/21.
  15. I think finding significant new investors is unlikely, so we'll have to continue with the currect custodians, who are doing a good but not a great job. All the focus should be on the pitch. Celtc aren't that far ahead of us and we need to bring in players with a winning mentality. SG will undoubtedly get next season but if we continue in the same vain, I think questions will have to be asked about his managerial capabilities. The next few signing are hugely important.
  16. I suspect they'll just be taking longer to ensure there are no irregularities in the paperwork. Dotting and crossing letters takes longer when you know people will be scrutinising everything you have done.
  17. I'd love Rangers to turn down future allocations for all the clubs who voted No or abstained. I realise this won't happen and understand why people would disagree but it'd be the ultimate "Up yours!".
  18. For fans who sing, "If you know your history..", they sure do like to see actual history ignored (and not just ours ?).
  19. Unfortunately, Peter and his puppets aren't interested in how our game is perceived. They'll be given what they want this week and that's all that matters to them. I still think Hearts are in the best position to fight the league being declared as things stand.
  20. No need to check what DR writes - we already know it's tosh. Quite easy. It certainly contributes to their survival.
  21. From the revenue point of view it sounds good. Also good to hear about improved facilities for wheelchair access. I do think there needs to be some focus on our lower income support though - safe standing seems to have fallen off the agenda. The atmosphere at Ibrox is usually disappointing (moans and groans are louder than the songs) and none of this will improve that.
  22. They should just rename The Daily Record 'The Celtc View'.
  23. Rugby is a crap sport and English is a complete fud.
  24. "At the time, he was writing about their racist employment policies". Rangers should be taking legal action for that ridiculous allegation.
