I don't really bet much at all, last time in a bookies about 4 years ago, but though i'd bet on Croatia as an outside 50-1 bet in my local Ladbrokes. There were no tickets, so i wrote the bet out on a blank slip , but they wouldn't accept it ,said it had to be on a world cup ticket or on the machine ,of which i have no knowledge of, so ended up leaving tail between my legs, ..,mugged off by the bookies .☹️. Saved myself 20 quid though.

Safest World Cup ever according to most accounts ,unlike some other countries that i won't name ,like Brazil , where you had to watch your back at every turn for the fear of being mugged .
