It seems strange in a few ways. Why now? Is it the programme on Thursday? Both going at the same time. Collusion certainly. Designed to make a bigger impact, yes. Has someone been having words with them? I still haven't seen an official statement from the club.

Should we expect a Statement from the Club today?

As you say 'he fooled everyone'. Perhaps we are being warned again. How much ex-directors can say I don't know.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-15333744 A man who posted sectarian comments on a Facebook page called "Neil Lennon Should be Banned" has been jailed for eight months If this is in the wrong place please move.

I think it has done that to a few already.

I can't believe the bile and spite over on FF for John Greig. Surely the man can be remembered for all he did on the field for Rangers. Hope we can keep it dignified on here.

They might just have been figureheads, but we don't need anymore of this.

Our defense at Ibrox has been poor in a number of games. Another mediocre team passed their way through us a number of times on Saturday.

Scottish football is getting worse as the minutes tick away.

Apart from the Scotsman article, where did he play in front of 67,000 in Scotland?

"It was difficult throughout my career - there was monkey-chanting and booing, and I was the unfortunate victim of having a banana thrown at me. Actually, it’s one of my funniest stories," he said of that unsavoury incident, which happened in a game between Pisa and AS Roma in the Italian capital. "I remember I was having a terrible time in the match, and somebody threw a banana which hit my leg. I actually picked up the banana, peeled back the skin and ate it, then threw it back at the offender. "I remember talking to journalists afterwards, and they said: ‘Paul, why did you do that?’ I told them I was having a bad time, I had a much-improved second half and that was because of the nutritional value from the banana." http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/european/elliott_s_dream_is_to_boot_out_the_racists_1_625976

Donald McIntyre has resigned as Rangers' finance director.
chilledbear replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
You would think someone who was in the business of acquiring and turning round failing/failed Companies, would know the ins and outs of getting rid of unwanted Directors. -
It was a dodgy penalty, no doubt about it. But we got away with one in the first half, which could have ended with Adam receiving a red. We were just not good enough.

Defence is a shambles, and nothing much in the pipeline. Wilson and Perry in the under 21s, neither playing first team football. Disappointed watching Hutton, he has never progressed since leaving Rangers, now to me he is going backwards. The amount of ground Naismith covers playing for Scotland is unbelievable, that is one good point about not qualifying, he would have been knackered by the time next season had started. After watching the under21s on Monday, I don't see much change in our fortunes for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.

Wylde did well when he got service.

BBC Investigative Documentary on RFC/Craig Whyte confirmed
chilledbear replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I wonder if Whyte ever thinks to himself, 'why did I buy into this'. I'm sure I read somewhere recently, there would be news about Rangers around the end of October, I think it had come from Phil the failed social worker. I wonder if Daly and him are in contact? -

This the guy who did the programme 'secret policeman'. -
Remember they had one last season. I remember thinking this is what we need, no RST, Assembly etc. Anyone know what happened ??

I was at a mixed marriage last year, it really opened my eyes to how uneducated [?] the other side are. I've put a question mark after uneducated, because I don't know how to describe them. Really frightening how they think, Proddy - Tory, Catholic- Labour, not thinking about numbers. IRA was their ideal, mentioned a few times to women, not Celtc, like you might think. There were a few slaps given over the day. and funnily enough none returned.

Bishop Philip Tartaglia, said; "I share the concerns of the Scottish government that sectarianism should be eradicated from Scottish society. "Fears that the wide remit of the 'offensive behaviour bill' might impinge on the freedom to hold and express otherwise inoffensive views appear to have been recognised and are being addressed. "I particularly welcome the first minister's commitment to track and analyse sectarian crime on an on-going basis using all data relating to Section 74 of the Criminal Justice Scotland Act 2003. Clearly, we cannot tackle a problem without first measuring it." The bishop expressed his concerns about the bill in a letter to the first minister, in which he also said the church was "dismayed" over the government's consultation on gay marriage and warned of a "serious chill" in church relations with SNP ministers. But Bishop Tartaglia said the issue remained unresolved, adding: "Our discussions also afforded me an opportunity to reiterate the Catholic Bishops' publicly stated commitment to strenuously oppose any moves towards same sex marriage
