  1. At least under PLG and McCleish we could play some decent football once in a while. 4-1-4-1 & 4-5-1 at home and constantly trying to defend 1 goal leads is not my idea of how football should be played. its dire to watch.
  2. Bluedell the booing was round the whole stadium i have never in all my time going to Ibrox heard booing with such anger behind it.
  3. I just got in from the game and i am in a very depressed mood after watching that embarasment of a peformance by Rangers We had no shape , no leader , no balls , no skills we got taken to the cleaners by a team 5th in the Romainian League another embarssing result to put in our cap. Tonight we are once again the laughing stock of Europe. and our champions league dream looks to be in tatters again. This goes down as the worst European game i have ever been to i dont ever remember such a gutless and heartless peformance from any set of players who has ever graced the Ibrox turf. I sang and shouted myself horse during the game but after goal number 3 i did find myself booing with frustration i have never booed the Gers before but watching that tonight was heart breaking stuff and it hurt to watch , so as much as i wanted to join in with the Blue Order in there last ditch attempts at creating some support and atmosphere by then we had concedeed no!4 and i couldnt muster the words , the blue order are fantastic but sometimes i find them guilty of blind faith as how they couldnt be hurting watching that tonight baffled me. As much as i blame Walter and his dire ultra negative tactics i also blame the players tonight as not 1 player got pass marks in my book not 1, we have conceded 8 goals at home in 2 champions league games which is a disgrace as much as i would like change i know its not going to happen so this is the way its going to be under Walter, my mate swears if Smith is in Charge next season he is handing his ticket of 14 years back to Rangers and i cant blame him i might follow his lead to. Its going to be a long season.
  4. A wins a Win top of the league. My flatmate is a jungle jim and was back in the flat with 10 mins left to go , said it was dire at the beggarbowl and loads left early. Hamburg are capable of giving the tims a right doing and then Mowbray will see and hear the real Celtic fans. G.F.I.T.W My Arse
  5. I say well done Rangers and anyone in the Mhedia who doesnt like thius gesture can go Feck thereselves as far as i am concerend There is loads of Rangers fans in the Armed Forces so why shouldnt the club be allowed to do a goodwill gesture and give the tickets to the people defending this country. One of my pals is a sergent in the Army and gets pissed off when Rangers do gestures like this as his beloved Celtic wouldnt dream of giving away tickets to the British Army. We had a small article in todays Metro about us giving the tickets away and in the same paragraph , "Meanwhile Celtic have donated £10,000 to War Child" there "love us dept" must have went into meltdown and thought of something to try and get in on our headlines and publicity. As for Radio Clyde i used to listen to it Religiously but it has nose dived in the past 5 years and i cant be arsed listening to it all the pundits do my head in especially Guidi,Johnston,Martin dont mind Andy Walker funnily enough as he just tells it like it is , Spiers isnt worth writing about , i will always remember when Walter Smith brought them all down a peg at a press confrence with something like "Peter, howz your football show with no football on it" lol was priceless. Saturday footy on the Radio is very poor now, only live on Radio Scotland as far as i am aware.
  6. Cheers for that would have probz paid double in the shops , still playing 2009 one and enjoying it i am on season 2012 with Rangers and have built a great team i suppose i could play both.
  7. I reckon this is going to happen in the next 5 years as Sky will demand it and some clubs in England will welcome the support and money we will bring to there clubs Others will despise us for the move on both sides of the border and it would be tough at the beginning for both the old firm clubs but both are big enough to survive the early years , but i reckon if the fans are willing to go through the mire of the 1st few seasons to establish ourselves to try and get to the Premiership then i think within 5 years of joining the english league we would be an established team and looking to challenge for honours within 7 -8 years of moving given that we enter at the 2nd tier or league 2 It would be strange though and i wouldnt like to see us lose our Scottish heritage over night but the SPL is a lame league and we need to do something to survive for the next 100 years , my only concern about joining the English League's is the wages and debts currently paid and owed by the top clubs and them being owned by russians/arabs/chinese business men , i reckon the EPL is going to implode financially in the future and do we really want to be a part of that , i think some kind of European League of some sort would be a better idea with the likes ofAjax,PSV,Copenhagen,Rangers,Celtic,Rosenborg,Anderlecht etc.
  8. I used to sell it for George when i was at School for about 4 Years was a good wee earner especially on Euro Nights and new issues, my pal still sells for George to this day George is a great guy and a true true Rangers man No 1 is the only thing i will buy to read at Ibrox unless George gives me a comp when i see him
  9. done he is 1st the now. When you look at the replay it really was a great goal and some great comments from non Rangers fans.
  10. He is demanding £20k a week ??? Should Rangers pay half to keep him at Porkheid
  11. If you watch the goal again McCulloch tries to take the ball off of Bougherra and if he did we wouldnt have scored , Great goal and a fantastic result away from Home.
  12. A great wee story lol Champions League were having a laugh Enjoy the Europa league Bhoys Mon the Tel Aviv and Hamburg
  13. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5561010,00.html SFA are Spineless ass holes More years of failure to come We are taking a big big chance keeping Burley in Charge as if he makes an early balls up of the Euro 2012 qualifying games then we are screwed and it will be too late to reverse the damage already done. We are going backwards under George Burley and we will continue to unless something dramtic changes is the next year or so under his leadership which i for cant see anything changing. Why are the SFA so ruderless compared to other national associations ??? devoid of ambition and idea's ? I dont see us qualifing for Euro 2012 - reason we couldnt have hand piccked a better group than the one we had for WC 2010 so have 0 confidence. Also this leaves the door closed for the Gers out-casts from returning to the team as Burley quote "i have rid the squad of those who stood against me" i.e the Rangers Players.
  14. He will stay on as if he was going to be removed it would have happened by now. His results as manager of our National Team have been grossly unacceptable so he must go 2 decent peformances and 3 wins isnt enough to save him but the SFA have all the back bone of the slipryist snake so will find a way to keep him.
  15. Looks like Fraser against the World on this one I think he does have a few good points though changing manager every time we fail cant be good for the team as our qualifaction years were under Roxburgh/Brown long term managers. But on the other hand Burley played 12 games with Hearts did really well and then was sacked i am not sure that qualifys him as a great club manager. In my opinion Burley will keep his job as if he was going to be sacked it would have happened last night and calling a meeting for next week on the issue gives the SFA time to make up a reason to keep him. Peronally i think he needs to be replaced he knew when he took the job he would need to hit the ground running and get results this hasnt happened and we would be taking a huge risk in giving him the wheel to try and qualify for the Euro's - is it a risk worth taking time will tell. I for one would like to see Souness or even Strachan in the job but if he stays he must get the house in order and start getting results , get Boyd,Ferguson,McCulloch,McGregor back on side as how many Gers fans hate him for it if it was sorted he would get the backing of most Gers fans. I honestly feel he is going to Stay though so be prepared. Why not put the Burley thing to a poll ?
  16. Was sitting in the BT stand upper tier last night and met Arthur Numan, Michael Mols and big Bert Konterman all 3 Gentleman who still look like they would stroll the SPL , Mols is really small no wonder defenders hated playing against him Also met Pedro Mendes in Buchanan Street too yesterday so my day was uplifted a wee bit despite losing to the Dutch.
  17. Not Good Enough Considering the teams we have lost too.
  18. Thats true but i think we have a decent pool of players with a hell of a lot of potential and under the right manager we would go back to being a good team we were under Smith/Mcleish the most progressive nation in World Football (fact) Now look at us
  19. From Gribz's choices. Possible Scots: Gordon Strachan - Think he would be a good choice and would get the backing of the fans and SFA. Graeme Souness - Give hime the Job today. Kenny Dalglish - Assistant to Souness for me. George Graham - Maybe been out of the game a long time. Jimmy Calderwood - No thanks Craig Levein - No thanks Mark McGhee - Hell No Gary McAllister - On the backroom staff ? Paul Lambert - Assistant Manager but no more John Collins - Would be a bold choice who knows what he could do! Darren Ferguson - Maybe a future manager Alex McLeish - Like the bigman but no one should get the job twice so no. Non Scots: Kevin Keegan - Not Sure if an Englishman would go down well with the T.A but i wouldnt complain , so why not. Terry Venebles - Yeah could be a suprise choice and the kind of man we need so a yes from me. Dick Advocaat - As much as i would love the Little General we couldnt afford him.
  20. According to the papers Jim Jeffries 2nd fav for the job God please No! Get Souness in Now!!! SFA Grow some balls
  21. i Admire your loyalty to the cause. But 1 result doesnt make a great manager there have been too many lows and not enough highs in this campaign, too many bad descions from the management overall regarding results comments player selection etc. But i will not critsise him in the run up to tomorrows match as he needs all the support he can get and i agree that the whole country should for this 1 game get behind him and the team regardless and lets try and get to this World Cup as this country needs a lift. But in the long term i do not believe he is the right man for the job and should be replaced either before or after the World Cup depending if we qualify or not. We need a manager that the players will listen too and respect and i dont think Burley has that. My Suggestion for the next International Manager would be Souness as Manager and Kenny Dalgliesh as Assistant with Joe Jordan head Coach they would command the players respect and would demand peformances and results. But i will be there tomorrow giving it my all,he has my full support for 90 mins but its up to him to deliver and also know that he will live or die by the descions he makes as his job will be on the line but also the 11 on the pitch need to peform aswell. Mon The Scotland.
  22. Thats probably true but there is players all through the squad unfit and not getting first team games. I hope your right hopefully he will be starring at this summers World Cup.
  23. I am in the main stand upper tier cant wait for it atmophere will be electric i think hope we put on a good show and qualify for a playoff spot. going with 3 guys from work one is an Aussie who has lived here for years and is moving back home at the end of this month, he refers to the our National team as us.
  24. Ehh... No thanks Would be a waste of a jersey as isnt going to displace Hutton or Whittaker for a starting spot. Also if he can play why cant Nacho ? At least Nacho has been in this country for years , this guy who id never heard of until he signed for the tims steps into the country 5 mins and is on the verge of a Cap-Callup Something is seriously wrong with the set up of our International Set-up.
  25. Surely he is better than Gavin Rae and Graham Doorans ? my mate said Doorans plays in League 2 in England.
