Why dont incedents like this happen in UK stadiums ? These countries are always heavy handed in their approach and they get away with it there would be hell to pay if Rocksteady or Strathclyde Polis started beating the crap out of the away support at Ibrox , so why is it so different abroad ? I admit our support are no angels but we are always made out to be trouble makers when this happens and using CS spray ???? i am sure i seen a fan with his face covered in blood So i am glad the club are finally sticking up for the fans in this case, as enough is enough its like the foreign police see us as having this reputation and are prepared to use force in the smallest case and if you are there and see a fellow fan being beaten you are going to react naturally and then all hell breaks loose. Its time these incedents stopped and the away policing comes into line with the UK. as its only a matter of time before a Bear doesnt return from one of these away matches.

I live near glasgow green/london road and about 1000 Hamburg fans on their way to tonights game they were singing "Glasgow Rangers Glasgow Rangers" and near every 2nd one of them had Rangers scarves or flags was heartwarming stuff Walked through George Square and about 30 of them hanging around all with Rangers JJB bags :) full of stuff. I live 5 up and i threw my league champions scarf down to one of them who happilly wrapped it round his neck , so i decided to go get one of my Rangers tops , the 3rd strip from 07/08 and threw it down to them and that was also picked up by a very suprised Hamburg fan who looked up and gave me the thumbs up. There is still loads of them walking by the now coming from the city centre pubs heading along to the game. I expect a really noisy atmosphere but from the Hamburg support with some Bears dotted in there for good measure. Come on the HSV do us proud and beat Mowbrays muppets.

Money isnt everything , how much do you think the Unirea team cost to put together, its about tactics,fitness,passion,will to win,skills,attacking,defending as a club we are poor in all those areas at the moment. Its up to the manager to get the best out of his team week in week out and Walter isnt doing that, this team has been together for some time now with little change and looks a spent force. Bougherra looks to be writing his ticket out of Ibrox also if i was Boyd i would leave in Jan as he is not appreciated or Rated by Smith so if they were both to leave i doubt we would replace them,weakining the squad more.

Fraser that was the days when Walter had a blank cheque book and was outbidding Premiership teams for players me or you could have pulled together a decent team with a blank cheque book , now those days are gone Walter has to rely on his managment and tactics to win games and try to get the best from players but these days he is failing on all fronts.
