  1. This is my train of thought. -Get the new guys fully gelled...5-6 games? -Focus on the league and win it. -CL groups right in our lap next season. I think it is gonna take past the CL Quals for this team to really start firing on all cylinders. I mean, let's be honest, friendlies or no, they looked disjointed...to put it nicely. Plus NEXT year all that parachute shtuff goes away.
  2. Jesus bro...pass the razor blades. Dooown the road, not over the bridge.
  3. I have seen that at the store but never tried it. Aussie and Cali wines give me a splitter. Good stuff? I prefer frog sauce...them Frenchmen make some damn good wine.
  4. So Goldson, Souttar, Davies, and Balogun are in varying states of injury? Who could have seen this coming? I don't think any of our CB's have any injury history of note. Crazy right? Well we have that Yfelko...Yfleko...we have the Yeti if need be. Sterling can slide in too. We should be fine for CL quals.
  5. Where is he gonna aggravate it? On the stretcher on the way off the pitch? On the sideline gettin evaluated? Under the care of qualified, impartial, medical pros on and off the pitch? Ya know, they might be correct though...rolling around on the pitch like a little girl might aggravate it. Liable? For tending to an inured player? Who is liable when you go to the hospital? These wouldn't be bartenders they would be qualified medical personnel. You'd be surprised how fast you can get a guy on a stretcher....if he's not rolling around like a drama queen.
  6. This is how it should go. -Guy drops like he took a 5.56 to the torso. --Ref stops play, arrives and asks directly "are you injured?" The player must answer directly. If he does not answer or answers in the affirmative the ref will wave a medical crew over to remove the player from the pitch (quickly). These crews will be non-affiliated, prepositioned, licensed EMS personnel (to reduce dawdling). Once the player is removed from the pitch he must remain off of the pitch for a mandatory five minute injury evaluation. The manager has the option of immediately replacing him with another player. However, this will count as one of the manager's subs. Either way, play resumes as soon as the final EMS member exits. --If the player says that he is not injured then play will immediately resume. --Non injury time (players not pulled from the pitch) would not count toward extra time. --The ref is the key here as the faster he responds, asks the question and summons the crew (if required)...the sooner the game will commence. All of this faking shit would be nipped at the bud. Not rocket surgery.
  7. Danilo - Roofe Cantwell Dowell - Raskin - Jack Yilmaz - Goldson - Souttar - Sterling Butland
  8. IDK…I personally think we punch ourselves in the cajones. We didn't move Kamara, Morelos, or Kent when we had the chance. We did turn Big Shirley and Aribo though. They tell me there is a system in place but the team screw it up.
  9. By the look of this D we are gonna have to implement a 'Blitzkrieg' offense.
  10. His age is only amplifying that. He has lost a step. Sterling, if healthy, has a great opportunity to take Tav's spot. Staying injury free is his main problem.
  11. Same every year. Win the league, do well in Europe. Whether it is CL or EL...just make a good run of it.
  12. I have a good vibe about this one. I think the team will show up today.
  13. They all flop like fish...every single one of them. What difference does it make if he is 50 or 10 yards from goal...still fake. Every game, a guy brushes another guy's shoulder and he falls grabbing his face like a took a black jack to the eye socket. But it's not only expected, it's encouraged and rewarded. It offends my inner American to the root but the overall game itself overrides that pitiful aspect of it.
  14. Reminds me of when I went to the Chevy dealer and offered them 25K for that new Corvette....they haven't called back for some reason. We need to sell a couple guys before we can handle that tab.
  15. How awesome would that be? Hopefully they would have a game down in Texas. Florida would be choice though. Tie it in with a little vacation to Pensacola as well. Get to see Rangers in a competitive match, no flights...me likey.
  16. Yeah I hope the club bring in a good young CB. i see it as a potential achilles. Goldson is starting to show the signs, Souttar has an extensive injury history and Davies is not allowed to have his therapist on the pitch with him so…
  17. Quite a few actually. We knew Kent and Morelos so that frees up a nice chunk of change. McGregor, Zukowski, Arfield, Mayo, Colak, Helander, then Tillman's loan ended. I think they are on pace...9 out..8 in with Cifuentes? Kamara, Hagi, S. Wright, McLaughlin, Lundstram, Roofe, and Barisic should be considered as well.
  18. Hundred bucks says the hubby has had a wandering willy...probably a couple times.
  19. Away -Meh...kinda reminds me of these Brach's candies I used to eat when I was a kid. That was my first thought anyway. I wouldn't drop 85 bucks on one that's for sure. Home - It's blue with a Rangers badge. I like it though. It's clean. Third - I really like it. I dig the centered Rangers badge. Nice. Castore's designs are getting better. Their quality is hit or miss...but overall.
