Herald: Former Conservative Leader Sees Through Sectarianism Sham

Recommended Posts

You know, that may not be the worst idea I've ever read on Gersnet.

Always liked McLetchie actually, he was a major asset to the party at Holyrood and he got forced out over what I thought was a somewhat spurious and trivial campaign over taxi expenses or something by a jealous Tory MSP (may have been Brian Monteith?)

Get the petition drawn up :)

What we've all been saying for so long. The difference is, McLetchie is a public figure. Good on him - the only party in Scotland with any balls any more.

Hope he has strong windows.

i know who ill be voting for next time round.

The actual quotes from salmond in that article arent too bad, makes some decent points, and is actually pretty objective... especially as you see who it is thats trying to put words into his mouth. The only real anti-rangers sentiment is from speirs himself.

Well done McLetchie, I just hope to see this made mainstream! we've known it for years, lets hope it can get put across to the general public, which will in turn give our voices (Gers fans) more credibility than they currently have after the slanderous coverage of recent years!

I detest their nationalist agenda, but the SNP have made a better fist of the day-to-day running of the country in 18 months than Joke's Lhabour did in 8 corrupt years. McAskill and Matheson exempt from any praise, naturally - pair of wankers.

As for Westminster, if there has been a more incompetent or corrupt government then New Labour in the lifetime of any Gersnet member I'd like to hear it.

Maggie Thatcher!!!! Mad cow disease.

Give me the milk snatcher over politically correct nazism any day.

ROFL. Thatcher? You must be joking. '75 was a bad year. I remember thinking at the age of 2... "this muppet will mobilize our armed forces for no worthwhile reason other than colonialism" :(

:fish:
