The Last Day Rumours, Departures & Signings

£1.5-4million again depending on who you believe...

Same with his ages which range from £15-45K per week depending on who you believe.

All these figures chop and change depending on what string Lawwell changes from signing the player as a blue chip to selling him as a dud.

I remember when he signed reports in Italy had his wages at something mad like £50k but couldn't recall a fee.

So at best they've broken even on this numpty. But potentially lost a few mil on a dud. :D

Daniel Cousin - Rangers player #5397 to realise too late that the grass is rarely greener.

The list of those who went on to greener pastures is far, far, far shorter than the list of those who didn't.

When the Boogie to Villa rumour surfaced my first thought was that Smith should say take a look at Carlos and then think again Madjid.

Cuellar was nothing more than a mercenary. He'd just played in a UEFA Cup Final and he immediately jumped ship to the first middle-of-the-road English club that came in for him, a club where incidentally he is going to win knob-all.

But he will get paid far more than he was at Rangers

Like it or not, to some players it is about the money and not the winning of trophies.
