craig 5,199 Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 Sounds like sour grapes to me, and quite possibly an attempt to make himself a public image, almost embarrassing WS in to going to see him play. And let's face it, being in Pompey's reserves isn't exactly going to get him into the spotlight to get called up. Also.... just where would he fit in as a defensive midfielder when we have Fergie (when fit), Hartley, Fletcher et al all vying for starting positions in the middle of midfield.
