Could very well put him in the Lafferty bracket as a player who needs to show more on the park, although Naismith seems a level headed lad away from football. He probably possesses a bit more technical talent than the Ulsterman and is certainly capable of scoring goals. ian1964 10,457 Posted August 11, 2010 Share Posted August 11, 2010 The hope is that all these players have an extra season under their belt playing for Rangers,as champions,and they should know now what is required and that they up their game and start performing at a consistent level. I find it hard to decide between either of them as both have largely flattered to deceive in their time here. To be fair to both players they've suffered from injury and inconsistent team placing which hasn't helped their cause. Gribz 743 Posted August 11, 2010 Share Posted August 11, 2010 I think an improved lafferty (attitude) is capable of 15-20 goals through the middle. Miller will get the same if he stays injury free. If we get Naismith chipping in with 10 plus jelavic (should he sign) gets double figures we are on course. That which is required is goals, we had the SPL all time goal machine and wouldn't match a third rate english mob to keep him, the management are now going to have to spend a lot more than it would have cost to keep Boyd, if it aint broke don't fix it.
