I believe he played out wide for derby for the season he was on loan there, pretty successful by all accounts, pacey

Yep he did mate and yes he is fast for a big lad. I just don't think he is the sort of player we need at the moment. Not to say I wouldn't be delighted if we signed him, just I won't be down if we don't.

Just hope if he does sign that I'm proved wrong :)

Maybe this a sort of negative spin...

The way the Partick coach was going on about them they were fantastic. However if Walter feels they aren't good enough so be it, however it does question the policy of giving players trials and they are rarely getting deals with us, happens all too often at the moment.

For the most part though there is a reason that players are on trial rather than being signed.....

If they were of known quality then clubs would sign them without the need to see them on a trial basis.

Meanwhile, the Ibrox club will not be offering deals to any of their four recent trialists, including Honduras international striker Georgie Welcome, who had been training at Murray Park for a fortnight.

The others released are Nacer Barazite, Etienne Esajas and Salim Kerkar.

None who played to be offered a deal! Welcome seemed to have a good game but I dont think we are short of strikers but Barazite is a shock, I thought he could have been a good addition for a season.

Walter doesn't seem to think he is better than what we have or was putting Lafferty and Weiss before him. Not really much point in taking him on a years loan and sticking him in the second team
