When I read the thread title I had to try to remember if he was still with Timmy, or was one of the lucky ones to escape before the good ship lenny goes loco.

 

Dont wish a serious injury on anyone, far less an expensive flop, but now they might just be forced to play the diddy right back they have just signed.

 

Hurry back Andy, we are missing your unique defending style already.

Lenny was desperate to see him off to get the transfer money and also get rid of one of his biggest earners. So it's a double Whamy there then.:flipa:

 

I do admit though i don't like gloating on injured players i would prefer just to beat them with their strongest team.

They will, though, save on his wages as insurance will cover them - or a bunch of his wages

 

 

Is that the case? Would an injury for 9 months result in wages being paid by insurance? Surely an injury of that length isn't that uncommon (Naismith, Thomson) and the premiums would be huge and perhaps make it uneconomical over a period of time?
