I don't think anyone is saying every Irish Catholic would turn down the chance of joining Rangers but if given the choice between us or Celtic, the latter would probable be the easier choice to make when looking at their background and the reaction they may receive from those hostile to Rangers.

 

Alan Maybury and Mo Johnston have both experienced this whilst some youth players have also decided against moving to us because their family are worried about the reaction.

Celtic would probably be easier from a financial security perspective too ;)
