its almost like the madness inside him was taken out on the park on in a good way.

Absolutely. A former teammate, can't remember who it was though, said about him that to normal players a game would be 90 minutes of mental terror with 22 1/2 hours to rest. For Gazza it would be the other way around.

He's my favourite Ranger for his class and talent but also the whacky character that he is, as he always managed to have his heart in the right place. Just a player to really remember forever. Favourite moment has to be his hattrick against Aberdeen that sealed us 8 in a row, so good.

Noone mentioned that flute playing against the Mhanks, even though it was a bit impulsive and he was receiving death threats for it, it showed his commitment and dedication for our club right from the get go. Up there in my davourite moments as well.

PG was a great player for "Glasgow". Whatever he got paid he deserved it.

It's easy to recall the brilliance of his hat trick against Aberdeen but the guy was a worker as shown by the goal he scored against celtic when he made an accurate clearance from his own penalty box and got up to the other end to finish off the cross.

Also in his last season rangers were 3 - 1 down at Easter Road just into the start of the second half. PG with a bit of help from Albertz pulled the team up off the floor to end up Hibs 3, Rangers 4.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mr Gascoigne.

"Gazza and Lauders were undoubtedly great players for Rangers but at a certain age you remember players who were even BETTER than those two (honest!).....'Gers reached THREE European cup finals and won one of them...c'mon the 'Auld Yins' on here, what about guy's like......Greig, Shearer, Caldow, Henderson, Brand, Wilson, Stein, Bud, Doddy, Jardine, Baxter, Dave Smith, Johnstone......etc, etc, ALL better than G & L, anyone for a pint?"

These are illustrious names and very great players but only Caldow and Baxter were of the same absolute highest quality as L and G.
