update to yesterdays thread

Recommended Posts

Well David Whitehouse said today: "In broad terms, the Blue Knights are trying to resolve issues regarding the structure of their proposed funding partnership with Ticketus as well as conducting further analysis of player contracts".

So going from that comment, the issue could either be with Ticketus/Whyte or could even be an unforeseen issue with player contracts.

Keith Jackson was stating on RS that Whyte is making outrageous demands for his shares , in all probability this is the problem that is holding things up as suspected that wee shite aint going to go easily

Taken from FF, as much as the thought of liquidation makes me physically sick if the following is true then it may not be as bad as this....

Whyte's demands

High-placed source within one of the bidding groups:

Ticketus to agree to no legal recourse after the transfer of shares

A shareholding to be retained 'in his family' (not sure of the significance of that - any clever legal Bears explain?) Shareholding of between 20-25%

A lifetime non-executive directorship

His dealings in the takeover and last 12 months to be fully exonerated by whoever takes over

Might be bollocks, but I doubt it. See if it tallies in with what's in the papers tomorrow.

Source said 'the man is genuinely deluded.'
