Rangers eye move for Hearts hero Ian Black

Recommended Posts

I would rather keep the transfer ban than sign Black....

Maybe too strong but I don't rate they guy, wouldn't last in any of our matches, hes a liability and thinks hes a hardman. Thought he was off to England anyway?

I think every squad needs a black type player and IMO he is definitely a player who could do a job for us in the SPL .

Obviously discipline could be a problem but thats when you can see a managers real worth if he can get the player to channel his aggression.

Unfortunaltly the embargo means it probably won't be Rangers he ply's his trade from next season .. Or fortunate some might think :)

Even without the ban, I wouldn't take him!!!

He's 27 at the moment. There would be no sell on profit after a couple of years - that purely based on his age, and not ability.

I was listening to the Real Radio phone in the other night & they were discussing Black. All were saying that he was a capable player & had done well. Then the question was posed about him in the Scotland squad - everyone said a resounding NO - there are better players available.

I would stick to the younger players!!!
