The whole "data room" thing is clearly just a jibe at Duff & Phelps and the online data room they set up to inform interested parties who may or may not want to place a bid for the club.

Right guys, never seen the show and too lazy to read through pages of this.

 

Can anybody give me a brief review of the show and what was confirned if anything thats bad and new that we did not know about?

We are cheats worse than Satan himself just about sums it up, oh and they have evidence to prove this. Well they don't actually they have seen evidence but they can't show it to us, but you have to believe them because it's the Pacific Quay CSC and they never lie, bend, twist, or edit the truth to suit their agenda.

Not necisarily stating that last nights info was all guess work....the ticketus section at lease showed some evidence. A lot of the rest was based on documentation that the BBC had seen. Again, these documents my be 100% valid, but without showing the hard evidence, the rest is then nothing more than speculation.

 

What has just occurred to me is that the start of the Documentary was all about Ticketus - for which they displayed documentary proof to support their line of inquiry. However, there was very little in the way of hard evidence for the latter half of the program. Could this have been constructed in such a way to build the viewers confidence in what Daly was saying - because evidence was shown for somethings, the viewers assume that there is similar evidence for the rest without actually seing it!!!

The fact is they can't distinguish between payments by Rangers and payments by Murray Group. Look at Douglas Odam for example, he left Rangers to work in another part of the Murray Group and would have benefitted from an EBT through that work. It has nothing to do with Rangers, but the way the programme presented it last night was that he was drawing money from Rangers.

 

If they can't distinguish who's making the payments then how can they claim that the payments were contractual or at Rangers discretion?

They claim Murray took 6mill, he claims he never took a penny. If they had hard evidence they would've shown it or they couldn't show it as it would drop their source right in it with his/her employer HMRC.

 

But that's not the interesting thing for me it's the total lack of any evidence of dual contracts not one piece of fact. Will be interesting to see what the SPL can find that a multi-million funded company like the Beeb can't.

 

What Murray denied was taking money from Rangers through the EBT scheme, it was never claimed that he did, he got his £6.3m from MIH through the EBT.
