whereas green paid way over the odds :)

No smart ass he paid the stated price while your TBK mates trying to find ways to pay in the future because they weren't willing put the money up frontv

It was said from the start it needed to be an unconditional bid.

people seem to imagine tbk lost out. at worst rangers lost out on a cva that might have worked. if you assume no cva would work then tbk didn't miss out they didn't want us in liquidation they made that ver clear.

No assumptions needed as HMRC's own rules precluded them from ever accepting one. Either way they still didn't stump the cash to win the bid so they did lose out.

HMRC said they rejected mainly because they wanted to do a liquidation investigation, so TBK would have needed to offer something very special to make them change their minds on that.

TBK are as bad as any fans who won't continue following us if that was the attitude, a CVA was the ideal solution but the club does not die regardless of the company liquidation and the chance was there to agree to purchase the assets if a CVA failed.
