Brown's consortium has bid an unspecified amount to purchase Rangers. Or rather, they will do soon on a date yet to be confirmed. The members of Brown's consortium will be revealed on the day they take control. Brown feels he has to act to remove Charles Green from Rangers following a conversation with Green, the details of which Brown cannot specify.
