andrew_2010 0 Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 Even if they were to do a 14 team SPL (which would be chaotic if they tried) they would be screwing over the SFL who would need to admit a new team to play in Div 3 (I'd presume!) with a weeks notice! Depending on that outcome, I'm hearing SPL reinstatement may be on the cards 4. SFL and SPL relations at an all-time low. Boom! bigy 0 Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 The logical 'bottle merchant' solution would be to invite Dundee, Dunfermline and Rangers into the SPL. They get the 14 team league, keep Rangers and the TV money, and leave the SFL with 28 teams and they'd be quickly forced into 2 leagues of 14.
