There may be trouble ahead...

Recommended Posts

Even if they were to do a 14 team SPL (which would be chaotic if they tried) they would be screwing over the SFL who would need to admit a new team to play in Div 3 (I'd presume!) with a weeks notice! Crazy!

Crazy BUT filled with sporting integrity - surely it's time this phrase was re-defined?!

I agree we'd stay up with what we have now and with even average signings we would finish 2nd at least the SPL is that bad.

All happening today.

1. New bid(s) in for club

2. SFL to consider media rights later today

3. Depending on that outcome, I'm hearing SPL reinstatement may be on the cards

4. SFL and SPL relations at an all-time low.

Boom! :drum:

I cannot quite figure out if all, any, or none are consequences or punishments?

The logical 'bottle merchant' solution would be to invite Dundee, Dunfermline and Rangers into the SPL. They get the 14 team league, keep Rangers and the TV money, and leave the SFL with 28 teams and they'd be quickly forced into 2 leagues of 14. Could cause havoc mind due.
