Two new players at Auchenhowie: Beattie and Black

Recommended Posts

Reliably informed we'll have two new players (subject to approval) at Auchenhowie today - one of which is likely to be training with the first team.

Players are Craig Beattie who should be able to train and other is Ian Black who may not be able to train because of his recovery from a hernia operation in May.

:)

Am told both players will be offered 3-4 year deals which they've accepted in principle.

We're also interested in 5 other players, including Dean Shiels (ex-Killie) and Scott Robertson (ex-Dundee Utd).

We'll see I guess! :)

those 4 are good players that would see us rocket through the leagues.

however we should be prioritising youth.

Have to admit i didnt expect a player of that calibre to go to the 3rd. Great news.

Does anyone think one of the old scholl may come in as a sort of player/coach/mentor type position like Mols or Albertz?
