McDonald Excited At Progression

AMY MCDONALD is excited for the start of the new Scottish Woman’s Premier League season this weekend as the Rangers continue to improve.

The Gers boss is delighted that the club has also taken the initiative to officially change the registered name of the team to Rangers Women’s Football Club in a progressive and important step forward.

Two New Signings For Rangers

 

RANGERS are delighted to announce the signing of Lisa Swanson and Khym Ramsay for the 2018 Scottish Building Society SWPL season.

Striker Swanson and Goalkeeper Ramsay rejoin the club from Åland United in the Finnish Naisten Liiga after both having spent time away from the Light Blues.

Twins Sign Up For Gers

 

RANGERS are thrilled to announce the signings of twins Jade and Lauren Gallon ahead of their 2018 Scottish Building Society SWPL season.

The pair join from league rivals Stirling University, and will add experience, in Lauren’s case in defence, and with Jade in the midfield area.

Gers Welcome Carla Boyce

RANGERS have completed the signing of attacker Carla Boyce from SWPL Champions Glasgow City.

Boyce joins the Light Blues ahead of the new Scottish Building Society SWPL season, which begins this weekend with Gers taking on old foes Celtic.

Gers Capture Leah Eddie

RANGERS have added another yet another player to their squad ahead of the new Scottish Building Society SWPL season – Leah Eddie from Central.

Having recovered from a cruciate injury, Eddie has worked tirelessly to regain fitness for the new campaign. She has international experience at youth level for Scotland, and has built a strong reputation in the game as someone with bundles of talent.

Baillie Signs Up For Gers

 

RANGERS have swooped to sign Jade Baillie from rivals Celtic ahead of their ahead of their 2018 Scottish Building Society SWPL season.

The goalkeeper joins the Light Blues ahead of the opening match of the new league season this weekend, which indecently, is against the team from the other end of town.

SWPL: Spartans 1-2 Rangers

 

RANGERS travelled to Spartans in the second game of the SWPL at Ainslie Park in Edinburgh and left with their first win of the new season.

After last week’s defeat to Celtic, Lauren Davidson started in a slightly tweaked Rangers attack as part of a front three alongside Brogan Hay and Carla Boyce. Chelsie Watson returned for the suspended Jade Gallon, and Holly Napier replaced Caitlin O’Hara.
