Part of me wants him to stay and make as much of a mess of it as I'm sure he will, just so he can have no excuses when he finally has to go. They'll have a wide pitch and a good surface to work with. Boards are all about subjective opinions. On FF you've got a few hundred if not thousand more posters. So the amount of strange (or clever) posters is greater than here. As I said somewhere else, the chap looking at the job heind the scenes IMHO is Walter Smith. As long as he's there and satisfied with the job being done by his fellow directors, the supporters will stick with the "Green regime". In living memory, we never had a CEO or chairman as outspoken and direct as Green. Many feel uncomfortable with that, while at the same time wonder what sort of power that chap from the other side has build up in recent years. I for one would be very uncomfortable with the regime of two years ago if it was subjected to the same circumstances that we were facing these last 8 months.
