Rangers nicked the SPL title in 95-96 with stars they couldn't afford

Recommended Posts

Rangers has always been able to afford the players we had. Let's never forget, when we were sold to the crook, our debt was under £20m and falling - down from a high of £80m. We never had any problem servicing the debt, and until whyte arrived, never failed to pay all the taxes we owed and all of our footballing and commercial debts.

Is stuff like this not illegal though or is it fair game because it is about us? It's a slanderous piece.

Can we contact JT or anyone else in our PR team, I'd like to see us pick up on this for once.

When couldn't we afford our players? We ended with 18m of debt and lost 30m of players. Say we'd have normally posted a 5m loss last year and owed HMRC a couple of million for administrative errors, then we're effectively about 5m in the black by all accounts and have had that robbed from us due to the erroneous actions of HMRC, SDM, LBG and Whyte.

We've basically been DONE out of about £5m.

Now lets talk about financial doping for Celtic when buying their land for a pound and the council paying residents compensation to move.

And there is no chance that the MSM will highlight this fact.
