Easdale becomes a director and M Murray stays

Recommended Posts

Frankie, please elaborate on why you don't want James Easdale involved with the club. Your reservations may be justified but in the absence of your reasons, some may brand you as Tom English, in disguise.

You what? I'm like a dubious Rangers-hating journalist just because I have some worries about the brother of a guy that was convicted of fraud becoming a director of our club.

I suggest you reword that mate. :D

I have heard numerous times that they are this and they are that, but for people no living locally in the area they grew up in we have no knowledge of this and no one is willing to provide evidence.

So it is either old wifey tales or they are good at what they do which can't be a bad thing.

I have a funny feeling a lot of the bad press comes from the fact they are not the so called "rangers men" people have been talking about or promoting.

So it looks like a no win situation for rangers fans that want to invest.

Spot on mate :tu:

It is always difficult to place much stock in such rumours but there's a variety of people concerned about this and not everyone is perhaps from hitherto recognised 'camps'.

But again, these guys have put their money where their mouth is and our board have accepted them so I'm not sure what else we can do other than accept the situation for what it is.

If there are facts then put them up there and debate them. If not then we move on without creating our own rumours based drama. We've got enough 'drama' around our Club.

There's no facts that I know of but these are few and far between when it comes to such matters.

However, one of the brothers was obviously convicted for fraud. Given what happened with Whyte (and add in the dubious behaviour of Ahmad), it's no wonder our fans are suspicious.

Not to mention them giving a recent interview to BBC Scotland which was a PR own goal.

So MD says. No reason to disbelieve him but I don't think we can criticise anyone for leaks when they're all at it (or at least have been).
