Hertz in Admin in 24hrs

I'm afraid I don't agree with either point. There is no reason to expect these fans to support other senior clubs rather than a local team. Even if they did the effect would be insignificant. Neither would fewer divisions make the remaining ones more competitive.

Of course it could make it more competitive. If you were Stenhousemuir in the middle tier of 3 leagues as opposed to 3rd tier out of 4 wouldnt you be thinking 'hey a good run and promotion see's us getting into the top league'. All clubs would have the same chance.

Over on FF there is a rumour a further £18m debt has been returned from UKIO making total debt £40m+

But UKIO have said they are open to a CVA have they not ? If that is the case the additional 18 mill may have little bearing on proceedings.

If you think it through further you will find other teams in a situation where motivation is diminished. Larger divisions lead to more meaningless matches, more teams in a division means less chance of winning it et cetera.

Not with the right set up.

The Championship in England blows your sentence away. And League 1 for that matter. Both went to the last day at all ends and created immense drama.

So get the right formula into what we have.

I don't think that it does. Going to the last day at either end of the table isn't really a measure of competitiveness for a division. In larger divisions more teams are at neither end. It probably means that the contest for a particular spot is more competitive though.

Ticket trouble for Jambos

HEARTS’ attempts at raising up to £800,000 through additional season ticket sales have been hampered after credit and debit card sales were blocked.

Online sales have also been suspended, with the Jambos only able to accept purchases made in cash or by cheque at Tynecastle.

Even if hertz exit administration via a CVA what will the new owners be getting ? a club with no money which has lost its best players over the past year which will almost certainly get relegated at the end of the season to a division where promotion will not be guaranteed the following season with Rangers in it that division.

Time for the fans to own then.... The only ones that shouldn't be looking at primarily profitability.
