Where is Ally's £1M worth of shares voting?

Recommended Posts

He's already rolled out the "productive" meetings with the new board members etc however I hope he has learned his lessons from the previous regime which he backed.

I think it would be a good gesture (although unsure if it can be done) if Ally just said I will hand my voting rights to the fans.

McCoist can give his proxy to anyone he wants, but what fans would he give it to?

Abstention is the best for him especially as there could be a conflict of interest.

Some people are saying he'll back the board to keep his job, but what if the board are removed? Would the new board want to keep him if he voted against them?

Surely it will be a secret ballot - the only way anyone would find out is if Ally opened his mouth and told them... ohhhh, wait a minute....

Ally may be sitting at the top table on the day, but presumably he would be asked beforehand to give his proxy vote to the current directors. I'm sure there will be pressure put on him to add his vote to theirs and he may feel that he has to if he wants to keep his job.

None of the three new guys are shareholders though and I don't think Stockbridge has any considerable shareholding, so are you basically meaning that Ally could be pressured to hand his votes to the Easdale block?
