Interesting to see that in the first division top scorers, the guy has the same as Hemmings and one more than Loy, both players we got rid of for nothing

I was at the Cowdenbeath game today as my mate is the groundsman there. Queen of the South won easily and Hemmings was a virtual spectator

Ddi you see him being questioned about it in the studio before the game the other day? He seemed pretty keen.

Too old now IMO. One of the changes I see happening is our new CEO insisting on a younger first team squad all with sell-on values.

Why do we need Miller???

We have Clark, Daly & Little as out & out strikers, we also have Shiels, McKay & Temp who can all assume an attacking role. By bringing Miller (or even Boyd), it is just creating another wage to sit on the bench.

The club must look forward rather then backwards. While I don't doubt that Boyd would score goals (less convinced by Miller), both players have had their day @ the club. If they are looking to bring anyone in, it should be young, fresh talent that have a future & potential resale value.

Still think we could do with Boyd for a couple of seasons especially next season as we head back to the top division.Have to say though I doubt it is true Boyd has signed a pre-contract due to the alleged history between him & McCoist

No doubt we could do with Miller. Been there, done it, wore the t-shit and slayed the tims. Clark is not upto it yet, Daly needs help and Little will never be good enough. Shiels has no future here and is not a striker, McKay is on loan and is no longer a striker, he plays on the wings, Tempelton another who may have no future here and is not a striker either. Of all those you mention none of them will contribute anything like what Boyd and Miller did for us.

Miller, Boyd and Daly would be excellent choices as we go up the next two levels, 3 older heads complimented by a couple of younger hungry to learn kids. We are going to need men to wrestle that title from Celtic in 18 months time, not kids.

I also disagree both have had their day, Boyd especially has unfinished business. I do agree however about young fresh talent, long term, but don't feel what we currently have is good enough. I want to see a couple from the Under 20's given a chance.
