This is why Lloyds had the urgency to get their dough back. Whyte didn't get us for pound. Lloyds got their money, just like banks always do in the end. That's how I saw it. Only if you think Murray knew this would happen, and he had full control of the sale, which we both know he didn't. Would liquidation even have happened if we got CL cash that year? Our debt was easily manageable. They just got jittery because of the BTC. Our debt was caused by our failures in Europe, not by mismanagement. His entire empire was crumbling. He made plenty of money from Rangers through his other companies oh like he loaned us 500k then charged us 50k a week until we repaid him? or employed his mated to do the maintenance and run the ticket sales? or employed his pals in jobs they werent qualified for and gave them wages massively out of proportion and shares and bonuses. or employed dozens of lawyers and pr companies to do the same non job because each one was affiliated with a mate. murray was an armature compared to what we have now. he sure never got 5 million shared for 50k. he had to pay tens of millions into the club for his. perhaps he let this lot have us so we would realise how good he was by comparison. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
