Former Rangers star Madjid Bougherra looks for Ibrox return

Recommended Posts

FORMER Rangers star Madjid Bougherra last night revealed he wants to end his career at Ibrox.

The 31-year-old Algerian defender will end his stint at Qatari club Lekhwiya before playing at the World Cup. He will then look for a new club.

Bougherra was a cult hero before leaving Rangers in 2011 after a three-year stint during which he won three titles, a Scottish Cup and a League Cup.

Bougherra said: “I have always said I want to finish my career in Glasgow with Rangers.

“The only question would be whether that is now or maybe in a few years.”

Mmm!

I can just imagine the excitement with Bougie pairing Moshni.

Our central defence would be more often in the opposition box than our own.

bloody hell; we'd need to field another couple of centre halves just to mark those two!

It would be fun, but.

Not sure if it would be fun or funny, but there could definitely be some entertainment value! :D

Seriously though, I'd maybe take Bougherra back if he retired from international football and wasn't going to be constantly swanning off to international competitions and friendlies, then going AWOL like he did a few years ago under Walter.
