Much like Black, who is also contracted till 2015. They are on 2 or 3 year deals and sure look to extend these beyond that period. Of course, all such debate carries the notion that their contract end is nigh and the papers sure make it look like that. There's about 8 or 9 players in the squad who I don't think we need at all, but only 3 of those 8 or 9 players have contracts which end this summer. McCoist has roughly 18 first team players for selection right now. IMHO, that is not too much. We could shed up to 8 (sell/loan/free) of that total list above in the summer without weakening the side, but I assume that e.g. Hegarty and Perry are not in a hurry to leave. No ill feelings untowards them, but neither proved last season that they are good enough for us and this season hardly ever played due to injury. Shyte happens, but I reckon that neither would have been first choice had they been fit.
