McCoist to meet Wallace to discuss summer signings

Recommended Posts

The two goalkeepers and Cribari will surely be released (although I suspect that Simonsen will get another year and Gallagher go out on loan again) and I think that Hutton has been very unfortunate with his long term injury and should get a year as well.

Gaparotto should get a new deal (at leat two years).

The real problem is all the defenders that are signed on till 2015; we may have to live with that as it is pointless paying them off.

He's terrible by what should be rangers standard.

Depending on what he's costing he may be fine till 2015

What should be Rangers standard doesn't really apply anymore.

I thought he played quite well against East Fife. He's not that bad.

The problem here was, that he was the only chap hitting his (sic!) top form, while the rest did not. Quite a few players have suffered sub-standard performances these last few weeks, but, we might take into account that the more important games are coming up now (and not in the league), so the motivation factor comes into play too (even though it should not).

we need to get top class players bedded in before we hit the spl. the kind that cost 20k a week.

Is a year in the Scottish lower leagues going to really bed them in that well?

If we'd been more sensible in these first two years i'd likely agree.
